There have been at least half a dozen intense firefights between the SAS and arms smugglers, a mixture of Iranians and Shi’ite militiamen.

It is becoming quite clear, that the world press wants to make sure, that there are distinctively different elements in Iran. It is good to see that Seyyeds' armed poodles are not being confused with Iran's traditional armed forces.

I think you need to do a bit of homework on ancient Persian history. There is a lot there, and there is much more certainty in it, than anything related to the Seyyed stories.

Ali, what I know is that my grand-grand-grand fathers (seriously speaking) were nomads. Believe me! You know Shahsevans? There are still Shahsevans in Iran, moving to places, warmer or coller, in order to find grass for their sheep. My ascendants were doing this long ago. And I know it for sure. Then they settled down for some reason. We are only presuming stuff. We know nothing for sure about our origins that go hundreds or thousands of years. I know seyyeds and they are no aliens. They are just like you and me. And many of them have nothing to do with the regime!!!!
