2nd May marked the beginning of the year 163 of the Bayanic Era. This is the most important day of the Bayanic calendar.

Quoting from the Book of Five Modes: “This is the day when the Lord manifested His Self and considered it the most important day of the year. On this day, I recited (God’s verse): “Verily, I am the Lord, there is no other (God) but Me, the Most Exalted, the Most Exalted.” Therefore, you are (also) to recite it.

1. Introduction
The Bayanic calendar is introduced in the Persian Bayan. It has 19 months. Each month has 19 days. Therefore the number of days in a year is 361 days that is 4-5 days shorter than the solar year and about 6 days longer than the lunar year. This is almost the average of the number of days in lunar and solar years.

The significance of this structure is that the number of months and number of days are based on number 19, the basis for most of the Bayanic provisions. A Unity or Wahid is equivalent to number 19 based on Abjad notation. The number 361 is equivalent to the 'Number of All things' i.e. 19 X 19. For more information please visit the science of letters.

According to the Bayan, the beginning of the Bayanic manifestation happened at 2 hours and eleven minutes past the 5th of the first Jamdi of 1260 (23rd May 1844). According to the Persian Bayan, this was the beginning of a six years period of the resurrection of Islam which ended on the 8th July 1850 A.D (27th Sha’ban 1266 A.H), the day that the Primal Point was martyred.

2. The origin of Bayanic Era
Therefore 23rd May 1844 was not the origin of the Bayanic Era. According to the Book of '5 Path' by the Primal Point, the origin was precisely 6 years later, i.e. 5th first Jamadi 1266 A.H coinciding with 20th March 1850 or 29th Esfand 1228 of Persian calendar.

3. The structure of the Bayanic Calendar
As mentioned before, there are 19 days in every one of the 19 months of a Bayanic year. Every month has a name. Every day also has a name but its name is the sane as the month with equal number. For example the name of the first days is the same as the name of the first month and so forth. The number of days in the Bayanic calendar is fixed and does not vary.
