Pertinent to nothing in particular, I've wanted to post this for a long time. I've seen several blogs about folk singers and 60's protesters and of course Dylan's name always comes up... followed by the usual " WHAT... his voice sounds like fingernails across the blackboard". While this is true enough, I always think to myself... "if they only knew". Released in 1969, "Lay Lady Lay" was THE epitome of a love song to this 14 year old girl.
