I was not aware of that,
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Sun Jul 08, 2012 08:20 AM PDTI see lots of accounts that are no longer here and maybe signed up again under different usernames. My impression was that personal insults and use of dirty 4 letter words are not allowed and are the real reason for removing people, not that they are prevented altogether from joining. The reason is that as participants to someone elses blog those types of actions are highly undemocratic, whereas attacking peoples views and opinions and beliefs is acceptable, that is a destintion some users don't get also the idea of keeping it clean. Infact thing of what would happen in the long run/distant future if freedom of expression was stiffled by allowing personal attacks by not blog writers (blog writers can say what ever they want with as much style, substance and class or filth as they wish).
Censoring & selectively admitting users by site is the reason

If you want people to participate, you first have to open the door and let them in. I am sure you are aware of the staggering number of blocked accounts on this website and the fact that the ability to join it is controlled.
No one cannot afford a war.
by alimostofi on Thu Jul 05, 2012 02:26 PM PDTNo one cannot afford a war. There would have been a war if the economy was better. If anything they will need to force a cut down of military expenditure to spend it on the welfare of their countries. If they don't there will be social unrest in their own countries.

Okay guys, good work, we had 5 people cast a free vote
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Thu Jul 05, 2012 02:19 PM PDTmaybe with time we would become a more participation society in general. That would be great. Does anyone have any idea when the USA/UK/France are going to be able to come out of their depression and show some vigor? Or is the ecoomy situation going to be a bottomless pit that will eventually lead to a big world war?
Yes sorry if is anglo's
by alimostofi on Wed Jul 04, 2012 09:37 AM PDTYes sorry if is anglo's fault.

So who are you Voting For Ali? Changiz for #1
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Wed Jul 04, 2012 03:05 AM PDTHow about #2 and #3?
I have read about your view from historians and there is some proof on the first assertion, which surprised me that some would say such a violent and harsh group would indirectly help save Iran from its dark ages which lasted hundreds of years before they came. The Mogols woulds slaughter the Mollahs who not bowing down to them and therefore may have had a hand in the Iranian renaissance which occured less than 100 years after their invasion due to mullahs losing their power to interfere with freedom of thought and expression. Its possible. Not sure what other reason there is the renaissance occured after mogols came to power.
Didn't you say you know our history better than all Mr Mostofi?
by anglophile on Wed Jul 04, 2012 02:54 AM PDTThere are two outstanding errors in your last comment:
"... it [IRAN] was invaded by Mongols who wiped out Islam."
As a matter of fact they only unseated the Abbasid ruler in Baghdad but ironically Mongols respected human faith, any faith. This is why many of their subsequent rulers converted to Islam (e.g. Oljaitu aka Sultan Muhammad Khada Bandeh.
"Our ancient myths and legends and poetry came back in the times of Mongol Kings. Then the Seyyeds invaded Iran."
It was excactly the opposite. The Seyyeds (Islamic conquests) invaded Persia (642-644) first and then the Mongols paid us a visit (1219-1221).
I think as a candidate for the Persia's future monarchy you should learn the history of the land you are going to rule a little better. :)
Oh, by the way, when is our next session? (incidentally, As you are the one who pays for my services it doesn't make sense when you say I can't afford you. It is the other way around Mr Mostofi).
Actually Iran as you know it
by alimostofi on Tue Jul 03, 2012 11:27 PM PDTActually Iran as you know it only survived because it was invaded by Mongols who wiped out Islam. Our ancient myths and legends and poetry came back in the times of Mongol Kings. Then the Seyyeds invaded Iran.
