I have a simple question from those IC readers/writers who care to answer. I would like to know how many of you would say that your life is significantly different than two years ago? How about five years ago and how about from ten years ago? I would really appreciate if I can have good number of answers.

Intelligent and wise (adjective for wisdom) are synonyms!
we like Anahid jaan anyway! (to Mitra)

by mitra northcal on Sat Nov 27, 2010 10:39 AM PSTDear 13, don't worry, your kind actions do not go unnoticed, at least not by me . By your actions, you show that you are a caring individual and wise beyond your age, whatever age you have :). Indeed IC is lucky to have you as a commentator.

thank you! Well-said!
Mitra,
by 13th Legion on Sun Nov 14, 2010 08:41 AM PSTI don’t know you and this is the first time I come across a comment from you,
So it really doesn’t matter what “I” may think of you! The point is that WORDS are powerful and depending on the intention behind them they carry and deliver different qualities of energy that effects the world and audience around us and ultimately this energy whatever the quality comes back to effect its originator. My comments were simply a reaction to the quality of words and energy they carried! They made me think about what type of person or “quality of thought” would go back and dig up threads from 7 months ago and concentrate on the most negative aspects and carry them back and dump them in a thread that is full of compassion, positivity and perhaps the best of human interaction? so no , I don’t really think of you as a dragon, just shared my views on your comment and energy the delivered, noon of us are borne perfect wearing the crown of absolute positivity, I have also chosen words of such quality in the past and have had to deal with the immediate, short and long term aftermath, the most valuable thing I learned from them was to keep myself in check to see where do the quality my thoughts and words come from and what type of true intension and energy they carry, sometimes I really regret some of them and really try hard to replace those words and actions and mend them but the bitter reality is that sometimes we just can’t reverse the effect once the damage is done/ you know they say that “actions speak louder than words” but the truth is that in some cases I have found this to be the opposite, no matter how good and great my actions were the wrong words that came out of my mouth just hid all those good and great actions under a dark Vail!
So since I really don’t know you, it really doesn’t matter what I think of you, your comment has been you in only one moment in time! Perhaps we can look at this experience as a case of universal food for thought for us all.
Peace out.

I know it is confusing. Is it ahmaghtarin or witty? Or maybe you are witty in your hemaghat. By the way I hope you did not overeat tonight. You don't want to be gaambootarin.

by Anahid Hojjati on Fri Nov 12, 2010 04:00 PM PSTDear friends, sorry that I have not participated on this thread of my own blog as much as I wanted today. I just read the ship poem and the Farsi poem that Farah jan posted about Zendegee. Both are beautiful poems. Yes, how long can ships stay in harbor? The stay has to end some time. By the way, yolanda, you are so sweet, one of the nicest commentators on IC next to Anonymouse who is nice except when he talks to Sargord :).

Dear Rea, "Calm Sea's" ;)
by 13th Legion on Fri Nov 12, 2010 02:22 PM PSTDear Rea,
Your quote about calm seas reminded me of the following quote, I always find different perspectives to be so interesting and thought provoking……….
“A ship in a harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." - great nineteenth-century theologian, William Shedd
Ships Are Safe in the Harbor (poem, author unknown)
All I live for is now
All I stand for is where and how
All I wish for are magic moments
As I sail through change
my resolve remains the same
what I chose are magic moments Because ships are safe in the harbor
but that is not what ships are made for
the mind could stretch much further
but it seems that is not what our minds are trained for
We call for random order
you can't control Mother Nature’s daughter
Ships are safe in the harbor
but that is not what ships are built for
The witch hunter roams
the scary thing is that he's not alone
He's trying to down my magic moments
As we sail through change
Ride the wind of a silent rage
and sing laments of magic moments

I LOVE YOU ALL ;)
by 13th Legion on Fri Nov 12, 2010 12:48 PM PSTDear Anahid what a blog this turned out to be…
I have never cared for politics for I have never found any “truth” in it, only deception, greed and divide witch are some of the manifestation of our own human nature as is for our compassion, altruism, generosity and love for humanity!
Seeing us all pull together and unite in this blog has brought great joy and warmth to my heart and soul this Friday and has once more reminded me that how much hope there is for us all, for we are truly not alone ;)
My dear Farah Rusta, COP, Khar and Vildemose, it seems that more or less we are all in the same boat, sword in hand fighting to survive the challenges of life in different fronts of our existence, I just wish us all to continue to maintain our fighting spirit and keep the fire of hope alive, to keep reminding ourselves about the importance of maintaining our positivity and keep seeing the cup half full in all scenarios, I may not know much but I do know that attitude is everything and that it CAN and WILL work wonders!
“IN NEEZ BOGZARAD”…may the force be with us ;)
Love & Light
