Just Leave...And Don't Come Back Please!

Another day, another return by a former disgruntled IC member who left us after a couple of angry blogs—telling us how she was mistreated, how we didn’t deserve her, how this place is a zoo, what she needs to do to close her account, how she wasn’t featured on the first page—and how unfair that is to the rest of humanity…the fact that she was not featured on the face page that is…”I’m going to delete all my blogs”…etc., etc.

But of course, she’s now back blogging.  I won’t say who I’m talking about.  OK, I will.  It’s the Hafez beginner something lady.  She had a whole cyber meltdown a few months ago when one of her blogs wasn’t featured on the front page.  She then wrote a couple of irate blogs and promised us to never come back.  And of course, she came back.  And she’s not alone.  There are many others.  I think Abarmard wrote a goodbye blog, only to return a few moths later.  There are also others who disappear after a farewell blog, only to return under a much obvious different username, or with one of their many other usernames that they keep on ice for rainy days..

Look people: you are boring me.  If you’re in the midst of a hissy fit because your blog wasn’t featured, or you’re angry because someone said something about your unconditional support of a brutal regime, channel your energy elsewhere instead of writing a blog that you will later regret.  Go take a cold shower, exercise, have sex—or do something else that takes the anger away instead of boring us with another sappy blog, and then embarrassing yourself by coming back like you never said the things you said before—you know, the things about you going away and never coming back.  Plus, I'm not a "feelings" type person.  I don't need--nor do I want to--know how you feel about any subject whatsoever.

Just be a man—or woman—of your word.  When you say you’re leaving, this is what you need to do: just leave.  That’s all.  Very easy.  A trained chimp can do it.  And so can you!

Dear Anahid

by Soosan Khanoom on

Do not get these poor souls that seriously... they must have been drinking again...

come on...Anahid seriously   .. at least they are nice to you and let your posts stay ... I once said AO is OI and is  H & M and is M & M and then he flogged me ... i mean flagged me ...

now the only thing which sounds a little bit rude here is the way AO wrote about Afsaneh's return that is really mean.

It terms of his ability to write poems I guess the best AO aka cheshmeh can do is to right another version of  toop - e-gelgelee  ...

LOL

Anahid Hojjati

Oon Yaroo, somehow I doubt that

by Anahid Hojjati on

AO is 45 years old 6'2" athletic-built blond hair and blues eyes, and why do you think that i should accept anything written by someone who calls himself/herself Oon yaroo?

Oon Yaroo

Ahahid Khanoom Gerami, I know Mash Ghasem and I know AO.

by Oon Yaroo on

They are different persons! Mash Ghasem is a 62 year-old man about 5'8". Gray Joe Gandomi hair. Half of his teeth are gone due to smoking Ghalyoun.

AO, on the other hand, is 45 years old 6'2" athletic-built blond hair and blues eyes.

Believe you me, they are different.

Roozbeh_Gilani

AO, I used to have a girl friend like that....

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

Many years ago, during my single student days, I used to know this girl who'd every so often get mad at me for friviolous stuff (like my -lack of- personal hygene, acting too friendly towards her cousine after a few drinks, etc...). She'd call me all kinds of names before leaving me. Then she'd turn up at my doorsteps a few weeks later. And I'd say, sure, why not, come on in.... and the cycle would continue. Life is such, some people just are too sensitive, yet attached at the same time.

"Personal business must yield to collective interest."

Oon Yaroo

Mash Ghasem says hello. He is in Ghahvehkooneh smoking ghalyoun!

by Oon Yaroo on

He sends his love to you all. He said he is going to join you guys in the Hammoom. He said get him a longe ready.

Siamak Asadian

Keep an eye on your enemy, keep an even closer eye on your ally!

by Siamak Asadian on

AO jaan, I think what you and practically everyone else in here fogets is just how much Todeh is responsible for IR's bag of tricks ( from the introduction of Ration Cards, to its Intelligence Ministry, to...) to this day.

What makes such an "outstanding" history much more problematic is the utter refusal of the "official" party itself, or its "unofficial" supporters/apologists to admit to their mistakes (calling all such crimes simply a 'mistake' is really an innovation in euphemism, but let's not get too much into linguistics, for now).

In yourcorrect attitude of forward looking and maintanence of a positive attitude in our collective , national fight against IR, you cite that me and AH are both on the same side. And as I said I really appreciate a positive take on all things in life.

But, at the end of the day, being on the same side in a revolution agaisnt IR, doesn't mean much.

Lets recall that back in 1979, the entire Iranian nation was all on one side for feedom, democracy and independence.

And we were keeping a close eye on our perceived enemy. What we forgot to keep a close eye were our "allies." We all know the rest of the story.

Frankly with allies like this, that after three decades have a hard time even admitting their 'misatkes,' I'm already very apprehensive about post IR future. Cheers

P.S. Today as a simple excersie in gathering historical fact on Todeh I tried to see how many documents and articles I could find. And guess what? There's practically no end to documents and articles implicating Todeh in worse episodes of Iranian history. You and all other readers, will be the ultimate judge.

Anonymous Observer

Dear Anahid - I can see the two of you having minor differences

by Anonymous Observer on

about the past.  But let's keep focus on the big picture:  the overthrwo of the IR.  Both of you seem to be on the same side when it comes to that unltimate goal.

Anonymous Observer

Faramarz Jaan-I think that we're witnessing their midlife crisis

by Anonymous Observer on

online.

You're aboslutely correct.  It is a cry for attention.  I mean, for Darwin's sake--to get worked up over your blog not being featured, or one of your comments being deleted....come on...

I wonder if they will also hold their breaths until their blog gets featured.

Anahid Hojjati

Dear AO, this thing is

by Anahid Hojjati on

that MG and I were very young in 1979 (I was younger by few years when revoluton happened). As young people, we had ideas and as time went on, I realized that some were not right. As a matter of fact, even then, I had some doubts. MG on the other hand ia acting like he woke up from a 30 year old sleep. He repeats same slogans that he was probably saying in 1979.

Faramarz

Dear John Blogs!

by Faramarz on

Anonymous Observer,

Thanks for your blog. You don't know how many times I have been tempted to write about this topic. I mean a bunch of people way into their 40's and 50's are acting like pre-teens!

The "Dear John" blogs about "I am going to leave and never come back again" is just a cry for attention. It reminds me of when we were little and did not get our way with our parents and threatened to leave the home and never come back! One of my cousins actually packed a small suitcase and put it by the front door and told his parents that he will leave and become a beggar! It was so cute at the time.

And our parents generally played along, but at the last second came up with a compromise, promising that if we do certain chores we would get the toy that we so badly wanted!

Unfortunately there are no parents here so people leave and then come back after a while.

Anonymous Observer

What's this thing between MG and AH about anyway?

by Anonymous Observer on

Haven't been keeping up.  Why is MG blocked?  Is he back under "Siamak whatever?"  he has called me a whole bunch of things in the past, but I like MG.  He's smart and he hates the IR.  Those are two qualities that one must admire.  Smae goes for Anahid--who apparently is NOT blocked.  She is smart and hates the IR.  So, why the bad blood?

They do "ghor" a lot.  I mean, get a life.  Seriously.  This is a website.  You publish an opinion on it, expect some feedback, even if the feedback is negative.  Enough with the "naneh man ghareebam" already.

And you are forgiven for the unientional use of the much dreaded LOL.

Some people wanted to quit IC, but can't break the addiction! They need some therapy and find their alternatives......but it is not easy!

Anonymous Observer

VPK - I don't really hate you - you're just a minor irritation

by Anonymous Observer on

kind of like a small hemorrhoid.  In terms of Samsam, I made a note of my support on OY's blog about the same subject.  I also posted a follow up blog, which was deleted for unrelated reasons.

Incidentally, aren't you one of those supr whiners who writes blog after blog about how you're being unfairly treated, your comment being deleted...etc.?

Good one AO jaan. LOL  (<-- oh no, sorry for the acronym)

Cheghadr eenha ghor mizanad.

BTW (<-- whoops!) loved MG, hope he comes back soon. He's knowledgable and a no nonsense kinda guy ....

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Bring back SamSam

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

You people get off your *** and go to my blog. Then remind the admin that we want SamSam back.

//iranian.com/main/blog/veiled-prophet-kh...

AO: I don't see your name there. I know you hate me but why not start your own blog asking to have him back. Stop complaining and do something good. All this yelling at each other is not very helpful or good.

Anonymous Observer

I'm leaving Iranian.com- How dare JJ not feature this blog?

by Anonymous Observer on

After all, I spent a total of 900,000 microseconds on my wonderful blog, just to see it be "banished" to the pits of non-featuredom by the criminal, Buenos Aires cruising Jahanshah Javid!!!

Not really.  I'm not going anywhere.  So, stop your celebrations my dear members of Ommat-e Hezbollah.  You will have to deal with me for the foreseeable feature.   Ahhhhh...poor babies...

gone off deep end MG/Siamak

i have a wish tonight.

Siamak Asadian

"Rude" is the one who rushes to defend Todeh every single time,

by Siamak Asadian on

yet denys having anyhting to do with Tudeh.

So which one is it?

If you're not a todeh apologist or supporter, then what is it to you what anyone says about todeh?

And if you are a todeh apologist. supporter (which you obviously have been, are, and will be, for the forseeable future) that means the shoe fits. So wear it.

Oon yaroo, regarding chaos

by Anahid Hojjati on

it is not always bad.

Oon Yaroo

Anahid Khanoom, I didn't mean to offend you! I have the highest

by Oon Yaroo on

respect and admiration for you! I really mean it! I just wanted to use an example to describe the chaos of IC.

With much love and affection for you!

Dear COP, IC has become more like a Hamoom Zanooneh with

by Oon Yaroo on

all due respect to our female friends/colleagues here!

Every second you hear the sound of people (both men and women) screaming as to who stole their sang'e paa, sefeed abb, kiseh or leeff away or what have you...!

I think kindergarten kids behave a lot more maturely than these folks...

With much respect!

Anahid Hojjati

Yes, Oon yaroo

by Anahid Hojjati on

I am not speculating. On a blog today that Siamak Asadian and I have been exchanging comments, Siamak Asadian stated that MG was blocked so now he uses this user Id or something to this effect. As far as discussing MG or Siamak Asadian, please allow me to state that  I prefer to write about other subjects.

Oon Yaroo

Anahid Khanoom, are you sure MG is Siamak Asadian?

by Oon Yaroo on

BTW, who is Siamak Asadian?

Cost-of-Progress

AO jaan

by Cost-of-Progress on

I totally agree with you bro'. This place sometimes feels like a kindergarten......

Anahid Hojjati

about Mash Ghasem (Siamak Asadian), also about Milad

by Anahid Hojjati on

Regarding Hafez for Beginners, the candidate that she has been blogging about recently (Milad) seems promising. I donated $25.0 to him because I am impressed with his qualifications. Even Howard Dean endorsed him.

Regarding MG, who now uses Siamak Asadian because he wrote that MG has been blocked, I want to state that initially MG was different. In recent months I see that his behavior has deeriorated and he is rude.

Oon Yaroo

AO, what's going on here...? Has Mash Ghasem been blocked?

by Oon Yaroo on

Please bring Mash Ghasem back!

Please bring SamSam back!
