Every time one of these celebraties or politicians find themselves in hot water they ask for privacy. They say it is their personal life. And every time it happens they have bested the last guy to create a situation more embarassing than that of their predecessor.
The last few that comes to mind were; NY's Governor (in charge of investigating prostitution rings) who ended up with a high priced call girl that would take Am Trak to meet you at your fancy hotel room, then it was SC's Governor who went hiking in the moutains of Argentina with his mistress, next was David Letterman who is rich but cheap enough to shack women in his pull-out sofa in his backroom dingy office before going on stage and making fun of other people's sexual escapades.
And now we have the mother of all sexual escapades (so far ;-) with Tiger Woods' wife chasing him with his most expensive golf club and breaking his Cadillac's window making him crash into a fire hydrant and then a tree in the middle of the Thanksgiving night!
Now he wants privacy. Now that it is between him and his wife and his lovers and what his lovers want to say in public! When he sent hundreds of pages of text messages and dozens of voice messages identifying himself and leaving evidence, he didn't care about his privacy. When he was witnessing NY's and SC's Govenors go down the drain and the king of jokes Letterman became a joke himself, and many before him during his few years of affairs, he didn't bother to think about the evidences he was leaving behind. He didn't care about his privacy then but now that it is out in the open, he wants privacy.
Well I tell you what buddy, chics who slept with you have a different view than you. They don't want privacy. They want publicity and money. One of them has already made some by publishing your sorry ass voice message and more are about to become rich.
I really liked Tiger and because of him I watched golf on sundays. Somehow it became soothing and relaxing. I've never played golf but he made me and others interested in golf. He was a nerd and projected a perfect image, that now he denies, who could do no wrong and besides being good on the golf court, he was good outside and selling us cars and sporting goods and projecting a family man who cried when his father died and later when he became a father himself.
He gave interviews and was always accessible. Now he says his sins are private. Well others are involved in his sins and they're not private. They're hoochy mamas and queen skanks and they can be funny! Woods himself can be funny as he has shown so far in his text and voice messages.
He reminds me a little like Oscar De La Hoya (Olympic and world boxing champion) where he posed for varios photos that he "thought" would be private. I mean come on you pose like this and not worried they'll become public? Who would take such photos?!
My recommendation to Tiger's wife would be to leave him cause he aint changing. Motherf*****r now wants to stay home and not play for the remainder of this year and probably more! Imagine him staying home now and getting on his wife's nerves! Now is the time to stay home? Sooner or later he is going to stray again and all she has done is waste her young life.
As for Tiger, I'll probably still watch him (we'll see) but will always remember him as another subject of comedy. You were so dumb to cheat on your mistress! Oh well. Your kids are young enough not to be bothered by this so we don't have to feel guilty. Why do these people even bother getting married? Why do they bother present themselves as family men?
I can't wait for Saturday Night Live to lampoon him this weekend!

so let's see "at least half (the ones who get caught or confess) of men/women cheat". OK so why not talk about it? it's either OK and we ignore it, OR we discuss it and find a solution. the state of marriage is a disaster. i don't understand why anyone gets married anymore, especially young people. times have changed.
So what? So this is funny! Was Leili a man or a woman?

So What?
by Mamane-Omid on Fri Dec 04, 2009 08:51 AM PSTStatistics show in the United States over 1/2 of married men stray more than once. Women are not too far behind either. What is the big deal, y'all are getting your panties in bunch over it. So someone is sleeping around. Big deal.
Tiger shoul've hired a surrogate mother, paid to have all the kids he wanted, and lived a happy life. Is there another reason for getting married aside from wanting to have children?

by yolanda on Fri Dec 04, 2009 05:58 AM PSTHi Mouse,
I just read your post! Thank you! I read TW saga update last night also. The whole thing is purely sad 'cause everything is about $$$$$$$$$......the whole marriage deal is about $$$$$$...I don't hear anything about "love" or "commitment"........maybe the guy does not have a choice.....if his wife divorces him now, he will lose a lot of commercial endorsements......so he needs his wife by his side to maintain his "image" and the family man facade!
Hi Mouse, you should write blogs like this more often....I am a non-fiction person and I always keep up with current events......so everything in your article makes sense to me......thank you....I am so glad that you did not write it is OK for a married guy to mess around! :O)
Thank you!!

by Anonymouse on Fri Dec 04, 2009 05:22 AM PSTThese sexual scandals are sooooo funny, yet the men who're involved in them don't seem to see the humor in it and want to be so sad and all bummed. The only person who had a little humor in it was David Letterman.
They also always use a new word to describe their f***ups like "youthful indiscretion", "defintion of the word is" and now this "transgression". Transgression?! At first it sounds aggressive like wow I forced myself or something. And then you look at the legal definition (of the word is ;-) and it is like disobedience, misbehavior, misdemeaner and also offense! Sounds to me like offensive misdemeaner! WTF?! Tiger has his lawyers thinking in terms of golfs and holes! LOL
Anyway, the latest news is that the son of a bitch is a manipulator as well as a transgressor. It appears that it is not easy to divorce his sorry ass! Apparently he is revising the pre-nup and cheap as well, instead of a $30M diamond ring like Kobe he is dishing out an "immediate $5M payment" bonus!
His wife after breaking his Cadillac's window with his golf club probably asked for a divorce and after a while Tiger decided that he is not leaving the house and instead he said in his nerdy manipulative way; look if you divorce me now you're going to get only about $100M max. So instead let's revise the prenup, I pay you some immediate cash and then if you stay in marriage another "2 years" you get additional 20% up and if you sign this piece of paper that you'll never tell about my women's underwear fetish (like Trump's second wife prenup agreement), I'll throw in another 50% and, and as a bonus if you show be a "good obedient and family oriented wife attending the golfing events", it'll make me more money and I'll throw in another 20%.
So say you what? Divorce and $100M or stay with my sorry ass and all this new found fortune? Come on, honey, sweetie pie, pumpkin, pooh bear :-( LOL and oh if you sign to have sex with me once a week and a BJ once a month, I'll just give you $100K/month under the table!
Finally he is also paying that Heichtel gal, whom Jeter and Arod had also banged, to keep silent and that's why Gloria Alred cancelled their press conference. Probably to the tune of $1M.
I just don't understand why he wouldn't go to Europe and pay someone and do it, instead of paying them this much before, during and now after!
TW will always be remembered as this shenanigan and the more we'll learn later, not because of his golf records.
Everything is sacred.
this was so fun to read
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Thu Dec 03, 2009 05:57 PM PSTI love sex scandals. I love to see that people complain about reporting about them, blind to the sociological significance they offer. I am always interested in how men behave in private, and this is the way we get to hear about it. Male sexuality is a big mystery and this idea of marriage is becoming less and less sacred. I can't wait to hear about the sex from these mistresses. I'm sorry but doesn't anyone wonder why he was not satisfied with that gorgeous wife!? Al bundy would not complain that's for sure. I guess it's the Bill CLinton defense, "I did it because I could." or had to??? Hmmm.
I always wonder if men cheat because sometimes they are ashamed of sex with their wives and vice versa. This scandal is NOT going away and dear Anonymouse, I don't think you will see Mr. Woody playing golf anytime soon. start watching football.
Yolanda jaan I believe ppl n glass houses shouldn't throw stones
by Anonymouse on Thu Dec 03, 2009 10:56 AM PSTYes children are most vulnureable in these cases and get hurt the most. I think in recent memory Senator Larry Graig's children were hurt the most when they found out their father was seeking gay sex in public mens room! All during which he was leading the fight to limit gay rights!
Temptations? Sure he is paying for it now. We're all humans and their wives? If you had asked them if they'd leave if their husband cheats on them, they'd have said yes, but when in reality, they become lazy!
Everything is sacred.

by yolanda on Thu Dec 03, 2009 10:31 AM PSTHi Mouse,
Thank you again for the article. Your article mentioned whole bunch guys fell from grace or made mistakes and hurt their family. I have to say that the children hurt most from this kind of scandal.....the worst scenario is that the husband and wife get a divorce, but the guy can't divorce the kids....I think a dad should really try to be a role model for his children...Thank God I got a great dad!!..Another thing is that nobody is perfect, both guys and girls face temptations in life.....we all have to be careful and remind ourselves to do the right thing. You said:
Why do these people even bother getting married? Why do they bother present themselves as family men?
Great questions! Sometimes the temptation comes after the wedding.....it can be pretty tricky! Another thing is that love can fade if the couple don't work hard on the marriage!
Thanks and I like your article!

by hamsade ghadimi on Thu Dec 03, 2009 07:30 AM PSTi have to admit though, the way woods handled the situation must be one of the most embarrassing ones of all time: a passed out billionaire in front of his house having his suv crashed into the tree on night of thanksgiving. i think he just couldn't believe how his house of cards was unraveling around him. he was hoping when he comes out of his stupor all the trouble would vanish.
anonymouse, give the rich and famous some slack for marrying and cheating, eh?

Faramarz jan.
This is very true in Islamic Republic as well, as long as it is the akhond or Akhond's wife, that is having extra marital sex.
Also " Babre Chubi " very very funy.
Thank you.

Faramarz jaan another diamond ring would've been so Kobe!
by Anonymouse on Thu Dec 03, 2009 06:50 AM PSTYes I've heard about the revised pre-nup cause another diamond ring would be so Passé and so 20 year old wife of Kobe :-)
I just don't get how dumb they can be. I can understand when women throw themselves at them and at that time I think a better solution would be to divorce the wife you thought you want and then go all out and put your dip stick in any hole you want! Why stay in a marriage?
I also read that 1 in 5 married men cheat, not 1 in 2.
Everything is sacred.

I agree with you that his wife should walk away from him....I recall that when Kobe Bryant messed around and cheated on his wife.....he bought her a four million dollar purple diamond ring to win her back.......we will see what Tiger will do next...it is not over yet!

Anonymouse Jaan,
Don't get your hopes too high on Tiger's wife!
Here are some of the news headlines:
"Tiger's wife accepts 7 figure incentive to stay!"
"Tiger's wife reportedly revising the prenuptial!"
When Kobe Bryant got into trouble with his wife, he bought her a $10M diamond ring and everything was forgotten.
So the price has been set.
With a little bit of counseling, and a few tears here and there, they should be back together for a family picture for the Christmas cards.
One thing that we need to admire about this culture is that no one gets killed or stoned over sex!
