Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) has rejected Iran's swimsuit compromise for women's international swimming championships. Iranian women's swim team, left to right top row: Fatemeh Shenaavar, Zari Estakhrjoo, Khadijeh Aabtani. Left to right bottom row: Zeinab Shirjehchi, Shahram Amiri.

but I would not be surprised if the IRI came up with something analogous to burkini.  The FIFA uniforms had a lot of resemblance to burkini.

They all look like each other in Synchronized swimming

When they do synchronized swimming, they put a cap on their head and a clip on their nose and they pick the women such that they all look like each other. It is a bit freaky, and as far as being a sport, I have to say that I prefer Water polo, not that I ever played it but at least it is a real sport.
