MPD , for you in a nutshell

Personally, I have not tried peyote.  Professionally, I would not recommend playing with any psychotropic drug (assessment of Safe environment is Key with any substance)... but if a client reports his/her experience with it, then I'd be curious about, a) what it meant for them  b) what they got out of the experiment  c) if they need that experience again. d)  if so, I'd help them with evaluating the Safety of heir decision.  Before any of those answers though, I will accept and honor their decision.

Your short question again hit me with my dilemma with Even Being on IC, let alone back and forth Commenting on it!  My dilemma for the past 5, 6 years has been this: How much confidentiality am I compromising by my being on IC, potentially affecting the people I work with in various ways (including my highly-esteemed clinical directors, not only patients or clients). MPD, I'm Not trying to give you Guilt for posing an innocent question... in fact sima khanoom AKA Maryam and JJ before her, eloquently announced that I work as a psychotherapist.  So those dear friends reminded me of my obligations and responsibilities, before you did.

The truth is, I'd rather the whole world, including those I work with, view me as a human being -- Not god, Not their Mother (although I fit that image perfectly and I use it therapeutically, case-specifically) and certainly Not infallible.  As we teach ourselves and our children to resolve each conflict with healthy examination of facts and intentions, within developmentally appropriate means -- Compassion and Acceptance is where our race suffers the most from. 

So, my questions to you my friend:

1)  What if I Did have personal experience with mind-altering substances, be it peyote, heroin, or even nicotine? 

2)  Would that make me a weaker person in your eyes? 

3)  Is it ethically Ok that I have chosen IC as my playground? Or do you think I should re-evaluate my thoughts?

I'd still think highly of you and your talents, regardless of your feedback :o)

I tried with glasses, without, with contact lenses, even cross-eyed... Same with your shark link, I cannot see the outline!

Have you tried looking at the tip of nose?  That should help you with crossing your eyes. Thank god there's one thing that I can do and Ari cannot, Hah! :o)

I think you are trying to see it and perhaps in one color so you are looking at like colored dots at once? But the writing is in the same colors and pattern as what you see (green, white and black dots). What separates it from the background once you see it, is depth of field. But do try the peyote and tell me if it helps ;)

BUT Ari I did see little black people everywhere getting reduced to zilch as the greens got bigger and stronger.  Would peyote help, you think?

dear Ari, I took my reading glasses off and after a short time staring, I saw clearly the word below.  The writing on top are less clear.  Wait a minute, I just saw the top image also.  Thanks.  Looks good.

I used to be able to see these stupid posters in the 80's when they first came out, however, after my eyes went wacko and needed reading eye-glasses, I have not seen a single one of these darn posters past the front non-sense screen.  This one included.

Yeah I want to know what you saw! I only see one message (THE one). It is awesome. There's quite a gap in depth between the message and the background. I can't stop playing with it :P

Having looked at this image at various intervals, 5 times today - I recognized different figures at each visit. Also, during my last try, the red frame emerged in the main area... is this normal?

Seriously, I conclude it's my vision issues that are keeping me away from only one message.  Once you disclose that message, I will share my sightings if anyone's interested.

Thanks Ari, and thanks again. This is the first time that I have been able to see the message or picture in one of these dingdongs. What got me really impressed was the 3D, sudden brightness, and the depth of the background behind the message. However once I took my eyes off, I could not see it again.

Ari Jan, I can't see it either, and I normally I can do this kind of thing easily.  So maybe it fails on a mac?  Or maybe it's in Farsi, and learning to read late in life means my brain isn't adequately wired for this?  Interesting...

I didn't get the hidden message

I'm usually out of focuse all the time but this in not working for me.  I also don't get most of the ones that are printed on paper, but I have seen enough of them to know how it is supposed to work.  I haven't read the comments, and I won't, because I'd like to try it later, when I have more time.
