This year on the Fox TV show, 24 (which I am a big fan of), there are at least three Iranian actors/actresses.
they are:
Necar Zadegan //www.imdb.com/name/nm2464261/ who plays the role of Dalia Hassan.
Navid Negahban //www.imdb.com/name/nm1041023/ who plays Jamot and had his first episode tonight.
Nazanin Boniadi //www.imdb.com/name/nm2258164/bio who had a small role in two episodes.
Good job on being part of this epic TV show which will end next month.

DK Jan Fadat sham, you are getting annoying be mola ha
by capt_ayhab on Tue Apr 13, 2010 03:51 PM PDTSince you have been chasing me around with your beautiful.......... ah begzareem,........ allow me to answer for the last time.
When you say[don't try too hard], in your case trying hard means one hand tide behind my back. I do not want to get into your childish and unproductive game of posting irrelevant and often ridicules video clips, and quoting from racist character such as Churchill and old colonial fossils like him.
I simply have no time for these outdated and criminally racist characters that you portray here[Churchill and alike] as your heroes, nor I am here to try and convert stale minds that are so deep in their prejudice and lack of knowledge that think posting a 40 year old clip of some [khaanadeh] wanna be like Fereydon Farokhzad counts as a reasonable debate.
So, if you have anything of substance to add, go on ahead, Love to hear you out, otherwise you are getting rather way too annoying to be honest.

about 24
by azadi5 on Tue Apr 13, 2010 03:25 PM PDTAnyone who complains about 24 being biased towards muslims obviously doesn't follow the show. True that in this season and another season some of the bad guys were a small group of muslims, but the plot in each season turned out to be more than just a group of extremists planning to kill others. 24 is a show with layers of plots and subplots, so things are not always what they seem to be, and that is the strength of the show.
24 has been more about the corruption in the US adminstration and its politics than it has been about the extremist muslims, or any other ethnic group. In all cases, where some of the bad guys were muslims, there were also good guys who were muslims too and fought against those bad guys.
Like in this season, the bad muslims cut the throat of president hassan who was a good muslim seeking peace with the world, after hassan was killed his wife took his spot to work towards peace.
It's very much like the situation in Iran, you got bad muslims who run the government, and you got good muslims who oppose them (the majority of the people).
As I said, anyone who complains about this show being biased obviously doesn't know the history of the show and what it is about.

[In this season of Fox's hit show 24, Arab Muslims are portrayed as terrorists for the second time in three years - a characterization that has incensed Muslim-rights groups here on campus and across the country.]
//www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/373
The Council of Anti American Islamic Radicals is urging all Muslims to write to
Fox broadcasting to show their outrage at the new series 24 which portrays Muslims as vicious terrorists who try to blend into
American life just just like the 9/11 hijackers did, while planning to murder thousands of innocent Americans and turn the US into a Khalifate (1924) under the rule of Sharia law.
//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_%28TV_series%29
Depiction ofMuslims
Criticism of the show's depiction of Muslims
began in its fourth season, in which the main antagonists were Muslims
affiliated with the fictional terrorist group Turkish Crimson Jihad.
In the first episode, a Muslim-American family is depicted to be
among these, in which parents and their teenage son actively engage in a
plot to kill Americans[2]
(although the son, and in later episodes, the mother, are portrayed
sympathetically).
