A little strange!!!
by Reza-SanDiego (not verified) on Wed Mar 12, 2008 11:52 PM PDTCouple of legitimate questions come to my mind after listening to this nice lady... I'm not judging her or her character in anyway, but it sounded a bit strange to me that:
1-She has an Afghan/ Tajik (Farsi dari) accent when she speaks in Persian! Did she learn that type of Farsi in Italy? Or did she visit and work in Afghanistan or Tajikistan before?
2- When she speaks in Farsi, she has no Italian accent at all!!! (Very strange for an Italian who just learnt a new language!)Furthermore, she pronounced the city's name as Venice instead of Venezia!!! (Almost an impossible expression from an Italian, especially from Veneto region to mispronounce this holy name in Italian!) Finally, she did not mention the name of that small city in Northern Italy where she is originally from either... (I wanted to see how she pronounces that one in Italian!)
Whatever this short clip was made for, More power to her in her journey into Persian language and culture...
Love & Peace...........

Interesting!
by Kamangir on Wed Mar 12, 2008 08:19 PM PDTShe speaks very well. I've always believed that Farsi is not an easy language to learn, mainly because whe have the 'ketabi' and 'coloquial' farsi, that sometimes differ a lot.

Verrrrrrry Suspicious!!
by Anonymo (not verified) on Wed Mar 12, 2008 08:18 PM PDTWhy in the hell someone learns Farsi?!
She may be an agent!! or she is nuts!

I might be wrong, but she has Afghani accent!
by aaj sr (not verified) on Wed Mar 12, 2008 06:28 PM PDTI have been wrong many times, this could be one of those, but she sound Afghani to me, however she has a very pleasant pronounciation.
