Moods they can positively affect
Some in garden, some I collect
To me, they seem almost perfect
They are my exotic INSECTs

In my home, we can find an ANT
Hard work is its hymn to chant
Sugar crystals, I do daily grant
Carrying them, it does not pant

I am very fond of BEETLE
It considers garden its castle
Rarely still, it silently whistle
Little but warm feelings it rustle

Most exotic is the BUTTERFLY
It is a candy for the glad eye
It makes for a colourful sky
I must say, it’s my cutie pie

The wickedest is the CRICKET
It leaps from picket to picket
My garden is its active wicket
Freely chirps, won’t buy a ticket

Honeycomb rests on garden tree
The sweetest is the HONEY BEE
From its sting, I always do flee
But the honey, I slurp with glee

Now you know my insects exotic
Charmed, they leave me hypnotic
