In Memoriam: Princess Diana Spencer (1961-1997)

Much has been written and said about Princess Diana since her fatal death at Paris’ Alma Bridge …

(Source: persianrealm.com)

But I guess 15 years after her death the best tribute to her is to recall this touching scene from Stephen Frears’ “The Queen” …

It probably sums up all the ambivalent feelings that the late Princess has more or less inspired in us ... one of suppressed guilt, lost opportunities, public and private misunderstandings for which she was not entirely innocent either but which definitively contributed to her everlasting legend ...

So here is in tribute to  "The People's Princess" ...

May You RIP Diana …

The Stag Scene from the Movie “The Queen” (2006):

While stranded at the river, The Queen (Helen Mirren) eyes the great stag.
