Come again?!
by Nur-i-Azal on Sat Dec 26, 2009 12:00 AM PSTCelebrate it with the one that brought peace and forever will be peace!!
Kheyzoos/Jesus brought peace and forever will be peace? What's this this all about, then, in Matthew 10:34:
Think not that I am
come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
But let's take your Christian word for granted for just a minute: Two-thousand years have passed since rabbi Yeshua bar Miriam/Ieosus Christos/Jesus Christ was crucified, and according to your Christian theology, shed his blood on the cross in order to redeem humanity from the sin apparently committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. In these two-thousand years not only has nothing changed, and we're no closer to peace than before the 'good Lord' deigned in this narrative to grace us with an incarnated cameo visit, but things have gone from bad to worse to worst! And since apparently the first time JC shed his blood didn't actually reconfigure the original sin and erase it, we are then promised a Second Coming where at the end of it things might be finally gotten right by the Son of God and his legions of Angels.
Well, what kind of peace or embodiment of peace is this that can't get the redemption and the reversal of original sin right the first time round?
Maybe the Devil who epiphanized to Jesus in the desert actually had a point after all. Or, maybe, just maybe, the narrative claimed regarding the life and teachings of rabbi Yeshua bar Miriam is not exactly what he taught or how he lived, but fictions peddled and manufactured by a Roman faction who decided to take on a Jewish apocalyptic sect of the 1st century and appropriate and change it for its own purposes!
Bring on my main man Lucifer! Come thou forth O Son of Light!
Merry Christmas......

In memory of Montazeri, it
by benross on Thu Dec 24, 2009 10:18 PM PSTIn memory of Montazeri, it occurred to me that some time ago I was telling an American friend that I only knew two decent persons in IRI. One was Khaatami, and another one oddly was Montazeri.
For describing Montazeri to her cultural background, I told her this man is kind of person that you would like to have as Santa Claus for the Christmas of your children! Now that he passed away near Christmas time, I thought it was a good time to mention this.
I personally don't celebrate Christmas or this calendar new year but I enjoy the holiday and wish merry christmas and happy new year to anybody who does. Happy holiday to you too Darius.
