MICHAEL's BATTLE FOR LIFE: Michael Douglas with Christiane Amanpour in NY

I was shocked to see these photos this morning on the cover of a French Magazine. It shows an extremely aged Michael Douglas who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for his Throat Cancer. He was seen with Iranian American Journalist and TV Anchor Christiane Amanpour while taking her daughter for a walk in New York. Wishing the Son of Spartacus ( Kirk Douglas) all the courage and strength to overcome his predicament and praying for his quick recovery. ( See More Photos Here )

Chemo is no walk in the park. Hopefully it'll work for MD.

Streets of San Francisco remains one of my faves, especially for the early 70s street scenes. Memories.

The H-D XLCR he rode in Black Rain was also memorable, although I prefered the gangster's Suzuki sportbike.

She and her legs crossing and Basic Instinct was a big milestone

by Anonymouse on

I think that movie and all that it entailed was a big milestone in Michael Douglas' career.  Her crossing legs in that movie is now a part of the American pop culture.  50 years from now when he passes away people will remember him more for his role in Basic Instinct than his throat cancer.

Besides it's just a comment and it doesn't even have to have a relationship with anything.  i.com is a show about nothing

Basic Instinct 2

I only tried to sympathize with Michael who is, by the way, an advocate of nuclear disarmament, a "soldier of peace'", and a supporter of our Sakineh M. Ashtiani.

I also tried to find the culprit who caused his ailment in the first place!!
