My Brother saw it this afternoon
by fozolie on Tue Aug 11, 2009 01:32 PM PDTHe says it's hilarious. In the movie they compare Iranians and East Germans who both suffered under tyrannical regimes. So some of the humour would be lost to non Germans. Usual hilarity resulting from literal translation of Persian tarof and endearment terms into German.
Mr. Fozolie
I would have loved to see it too
by Darius Kadivar on Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:51 AM PDTBut I am not sure if it is dubbed in english.
I suppose it will be getting a limited release in the US probably in California or NY.
I hope they can release it in english. It really looks funny even if I don't understand a word of German.
I guess it will be on DVD soon and available on amazon.com soon.
