State Visit to China early 1970's. Shahbanou Farah and Prime Minister Hoveyda visit China's Great Wall followed by Chinese dignitaries. Iran was to play a key role as intermediary in the Detente between America's Nixon Administration and the Chinese Republic before Nixon's historical visit to China in 1972 in recognition of the Chinese Republic.
