Though it's a sad part of our history, I believe it's important to talk about the facts objectively, regardless of our political beliefs.
Shah's illness: Cancer of the Spleen
by Darius Kadivar on Tue Jul 29, 2008 12:35 AM PDTThe Shah had a rare form of spleen cancer. At the time it could be treated but not cured. The Shah's case was unfortunately badly handled for he did not get the proper surgeory on time particularly when he had to leave NY because America would not grant him a visa or refuge and he dragged on the disease all the way from country to country. Had he been treated he may have survived a few years more.
a question
by Anonymous on Mon Jul 28, 2008 11:09 PM PDTI like to know about Shah's illness? I did search but did not find much on. what can you tell us?
thanks.

by ThePope on Mon Jul 28, 2008 08:53 PM PDTMola, do you suffer from a "bad experience or something" from your past,, your childhood,,, like seeing someone close to you having an affair or anything like that ...? No disrespect God forbid, we're just curious cuz you're VERY sensitive on the subject (affair). You keep questioning other people's private life, like if you're giong through an emotional sensation of....!?
Anyway, Aghaayeh Mola, haajj-aaghaa, just to put an end to your curiousity(!), yes in fact, He was with (dated) LOTS of different women in his life AND NUSHEH JUNESH.
If you want to satisfy your curiosity(!) more, I recommend you to read the book "bi sharaf-haa", you can even find out more about His....., since you wonder so much about people's "paayeen taneh", wich is typical for a mullah!!!
But, let me also warn you in advance, in the book you might find out some of those "peaches" that He took His pleasure of...,,, were some mullah's relatives... No disrespect of course. It's in the book! Like I said, I'm only warning you in advance. Just read the book since you're so curious,,,and find out for yourself.
RE : I wonder if shah had any affairs?
by ebi amirhosseini on Mon Jul 28, 2008 05:23 PM PDTCuriousity kills the cat & for that matter a camel.Even khomeini issued a decree to close down all the newspapers which published photos & stories about private life of Pahlavi family.Have some decency Mola Jaan !!.
I wonder if Shahbanoo has had any affairs?
by Mola Nasredeen on Mon Jul 28, 2008 03:27 PM PDTNo disrespect off course.
He Did ! So what ? ;0)
by Darius Kadivar on Mon Jul 28, 2008 03:18 PM PDTSo did Napoleon, Kennedy, Clinton and Roosevelt and Prince Charles. But there are no real proof as to who and how. We can just assume he could have had affairs but it did not leak in the press. How serious were they no one knows and Alam's diaries don't seem the most accurate on this account. The diary entitled The Shah and I seem's very much exagerated and unreliable and I find it hard to believe that a man like Alam would have written such details knowing that they would be published.
But well Who wouldn't have affairs in his shoes ? Would you refuse beautiful women in your bed especially if like anybody you could be worried about ageing or dying and were tempted by an erotic experience out of wedlock ? Not that I recommend such a behavior but who are we to recommend of not recommend something that is of an intimate and personal nature. It does not seem to me to be the most important aspect in judging someone's accomplishments or failures. I don't think sex has anything to do with one's love life after all. He did love his wife and choldren deeply. Especially in the last years.
Before marrying Farah Diba however the Shah was dating lots of women after his divorce with Soraua amongst them were Grace Kelly who became a very good friend of the Royal Family and a Staunch supporter of the Shah even after the Revolution.
I'm jealous cause I would have loved having Grace Kelly in my bed but I was not even born in those days ;0))
