I have a lot of criticism for the Pahlavis but to say what you just said is profoundly unfair.  He left when almost the whole country was asking for his departure, and he did, now to blame him for that is unfair.   

Veiled what did you want us to do? Send our kids for sacrifice?

You prattle on about this family. Tell me, should we appreciate that he left us to wolves? Left us to leave like cattle from our country? We're spread out like a bunch of pigeons. Screw the Pahlavis. Screw the shah for leaving Iran like he did. He was a moron and an egomaniac. Never fit to be a leader. Now we have to listen to his wife saying "Cheezeh" and telling us how times were different and communism mish mash.

were a gift to Iran. We did not apprecitate them at that time. Now after 30+ years of hell we realize what we had and what is gone. Maybe one day I hope very soon we will get that back.
