Thank You kazem0574 jaan and 13th Legion Jaan
by Darius Kadivar on Sat Nov 06, 2010 03:56 AM PDTAppreciated.
I have tried using Director but I find it hectic to use to be honest because of the Lingo programming even if it is not that difficult to grasp. I look forward to a day when all I need to do is Drag & Drop items to get my editing done without the slightest necessity to program a thing.
But I am sure that is where all these softwares will be heading on the long run.
Thank you both for your insightful and useful links.

by 13th Legion on Fri Nov 05, 2010 03:59 PM PDTYes its Rudolph Valentino, the clips have to be from “The Sheik (1921) or The Son of the Sheik (1926)” also worth revisiting on my list ;)
I also love some the mash mixing of these old movie clips with electronic and effects when it’s done in good taste and attention to design, one of the last multimedia software’s that I knew of was “Director” it allows you to import, film, images, music and, graphics to make such movies with, tons of fun to work with but they all have a language “lingo” that one must learn to operate and navigate the software.
Will share more clips as I find them.
Cheers my friend.
Thanks 13th Legion Jaan Loved it
by Darius Kadivar on Fri Nov 05, 2010 01:26 PM PDTI think that is Rudolph Valentino in your clip isn't it ?
I love it when they mix old movies and modern Pop rhythms. One can do some very creative things these days with multimedia softwares. I would love to get my hands on an easy video software to create some similar clips. It's inspring.
Thanks again,
D
Delightful post for a Friday…..
by 13th Legion on Fri Nov 05, 2010 01:15 PM PDTWill try to find a copy of Esther and the King , should be a wonderful movie to watch ;)Since I know you love the cinema and arts I’d like to share this new and interesting video clip I found this morning it’s by “Studio Rockers” out of London, they are into the electronic Asian underground music scene, the music is probably not your thing but I love the way they made the video, enjoy ;)
