Iran Will Face Iraq in West Asia Cup Semi Final

After a lackluster performance against Oman on Tuesday (2-2), Iran advanced to the West Asia Cup semi finals against Iraq. The game will be on tomorrow (Friday) at 7 AM Pacific on IRIB2.

Iran scored two beautiful goals against Oman, but the defense looked very unorganized.

The winner of the match will face the winner of Kuwait – Yemen on Sunday morning for the trophy.

Also, Iran will play Brazil (yes, the real Brazil) next Thursday in a friendly in Dubai (of all places!)

in the second goal by oman, it seemed the two iranian defenders just eased up on the omani instead of going after him.  horrible defense on that goal.  teymourian's goal was fantastic.
