Last weekend, I went to see “Valkyrie”. I was anticipating its opening. I like Tom Cruise and I love history and politics!
I have done a lot of research on societal illnesses and how societies rise and fall. The stories of Iran and Germany and how they allowed regimes like the Nazis and IRI to take over their country are fascinating. I have concluded that IRI is pretty much a modern version of Nazi Germany. They have a lot in common. Here are just 10 of them:
1- They are repressive and regressive, brutal, and inhumane regimes.
2- They are both led by god-like tyrants whom thirst for killing is rarely seen in history. Hitler in Germany and Khomeini/Khamenei in Iran.
3- They both came to power and remained by using xenophobia and blaming the society’s shortages on foreign elements. I need to say here that the Nazis made a much better case in that regards than the IRI.
4- They both promote an ideology of “hatred” and “conflict between civilizations”.
5- They both engage in genocide, the Nazis against Jews, and IRI against Bahais and Kurds and Balouchs.
6- They have both provoked other countries to attack them.
7- They both have a “fundamentalist” view of the world.
8- They both became the center of chaos and instability in the world.
9- They both have anti-Semitic agendas.
10- They both have an official “ideology of the state”. Not following that ideology could result in death.
Of course there are more. There is one that they don’t have in common just yet, but my fear is for that to change, and that is, they both have and will cause world wars. The IRI regime is doing its darn best to start one. For Iran and world’s sake, I hope it fails.

Further similarites
by Arash Kamangir (not verified) on Sun Jan 04, 2009 05:01 AM PSTI fully agree with Farhad Kashani. If he allows i add another similarity as I lived many years in Germany and I know the background and history of Nazi Germany very well:
Both IRI and Nazi terrorized their people and oppositions by using militias forces. In Iran baseej and in Germany it was called SA. SA were mobs of working class or unemployed who backed Hitler from very beginning to very end and we have seen similar function in Iran with Baseej.
I strongly believe that IRI(like Nazis) will not be removed unless foreign forces intervene.
What is wrong with this analogy? Grow up MAN!

by Izzy (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 11:13 AM PSTMr. Anonymous,
Even the Bush administration did not blow up Imam Ali's Shrine in IRAQ. The mosques are antiques and landmarks from long time ago. The reason that ISRAEL attacked HAMAS lastweek, it was because that Islamic University was a new construction and was used as a military base. IRAN has Bazaars that go back 500 years and you never blow up the historical sites. IRAQ has the Samarra Tower from 1500 years ago and BABYLON's ISHTAR GATE from 5000 years ago. That is not our policy, sir! You have to be careful about your emails. It might hurt the tourists who go and visit those sites in the future. IRAQ made Christmas her National Holiday lastweek five years following the war. If a war takes place with IRAN, the U.S. might do surgical strike against nuclear facilities with B-2 Bombers.
No bombing and no war
by HateIRI (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 10:20 AM PSTEveryone knows and agrees IRI has been the worst governmnet and dynasty ever ruled upon us.
But no war or military/foreign intervention will remove them.
It just adds fuel to the fire. A dictator/totalitarian always uses the concept of us against them. In countries such as Iran where national pride/honor are on top of the list a war against Iran will just empower these pests and cockroaches.
One way only to fight them is through people empowerment.
Obama knows it and he will use that as leverage.
Nazi Germany
by Hate-IRI (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 08:31 AM PSTIn Nazi Germany they called him the Fuhrer in IRI they call him the Ayatollah.
In Nazi Germany when the country was not performing well minorities were blamed, in IRI when the country is doing bad everyone is blamed (the whole world is Iran's enemy).
In Nazi Germany crystal night marked the day for discriminating against German Jews, under IRI everyday is marked to discriminate against, women, Jews, Bahais, Chritians and all other ethnic minorities.
But one thing let us not forget the German might and its power superseded any nation.
The amount of scientific as well as technological advancement that the Nazi possessed was astonishing and far superior than any nation around the world.
What have the IRI accomplished? Even an aftabeh production under IRI has many flaws.
Nazi=IRI=Hate
My prediction, IRI will collapse in the next few years and the people will over take.
I just hope Israel will not attack IRI, in order to give these monkeys more excuse.
The way you fight these terrorist is with propaganda and use people power, which the majority are against them, military intervention just adds fuel to the fire.
I respect NAZI's more!
by MRX1 (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 08:07 AM PSTAt least those bastereds loved Germany and cared about greatness of Germany. They were clean, shaven, had disipline, organization, you name it. The kind of cockroaches we deal in Iran with are completely the opposite: Omatist, Iran hater, filthy, unshaved, corrput, not much organization except for hoodlem gangs, and so on. IRI must go.
America and Israel should bomb
by Anonymous~i~ (not verified) on Sat Jan 03, 2009 07:49 AM PSTthe strategic and sensitive locations of the Islamic Republic! These locations include but are not limited to:
1) All mullahs, their families, and the government offices,
2) The basijis,
3) The revolutionary guard corps,
4) The cities of Qom and Mash'had,
5) All mosques,
6) All Imamzadehs,
7) Khomieni's shrine and his family residence,
8) Surrondings of (not the actual) nuclear reactors since many supporters of the regime hang around those places,
9) Any moving object that has black tent on (chadoor),
10) Any moving object that has beard on (reesh-o-pashm),
11) Finally, all the supporters of mullahs of all form, shape, and creed.
The sum total of the collateral damage above should not be more than let's say a few million.

by Izzy (not verified) on Fri Jan 02, 2009 09:17 PM PSTMr. Kashani,
You have to do your reading carefully. The whole point of Hitler and Third Reich was to stop the influence of Communism in the European Heartland. I do not defend any political organization but you have to remember something. In 1953, Mohamad Mossadegh was teaming up with Soviets and he was stopped followed by the Shah of Iran who was becoming weak with his imperial army and the Ayatollah had some positive affects at the same time. He stopped the Soviet influence in the Gulf region. We always label them with ISMs during national crisis times. You have to remember something, IRAN is much better than those Arab States in government structure which allows its women to vote or attend universities. The Arab states do not allow women to have national IDs. Democracy is a slow process.
