I am confident Cheney/Bush/Petraeus would like to attack!!
by Anonymous-2 (not verified) on Sun Apr 27, 2008 07:36 AM PDTUnfortunately, the U.S. always needs to blame its own mess, its lack of forsight, its lack of planning, its short term startegy, and the mess that it has created in Iraq and Afghanistan on someone else; and that someone else happens to be IRAN!!
I believe the rhetoric for war is escalating on a daily basis for a particular reason; some type of an attack is in the works. Else why so much rhetoric and discussion of war?
Iran is blamed for whatever Hamas does to protect the rights of the people in Gaza against Israel; for Hezbollah against the agressions of Israel; for the instability in Afghanistan - and now Iran is also supporting the Talibans; Iran is also blamed for the instability in Iraq - by supporting Sadr (while it is not Sadr that Iran is backing but SCIRI)!
Of course the U.S. and Israel are not to blame for any of these acts, but the best scapegoat is Iran. Taking out Iran serves the benefit of Israel; as well as the U.S.! As stupid as this is, but when has the U.S. ever shown any real intelligence when comes to its war machine?

But then you must read this article of how the informations in the major U.S. media are just words coming out of the Pentagon and regurgitated by the broadcasters and journalists, without any actual proof.
In this case here is a great article to read about U.S. methods of disinformation but no questions asked by either the media or the American public:
