Olympics: IRAN in FINAL For 'GOLD'

Earlier today, Hadi SAEI of IRAN defeated both of his opponents in the Quarterfinals and the Semifinals of the 80 kg weight division of TAEKWONDO. He defeated Guo ZHU of China in the Quarterfinals, and Rashad AHMADOV of AZERBAIJAN in the Semifinals. He will be fighting Mauro SARMIENTO  of ITALY for the Gold Medal at 8:15 am EST, approx. 1 1/2 hours from now [see his gold medal victory]. I will file another blog after the match for both the Final Match and the Medal Presentation Ceremony. I have included both the Quarterfinal and Semfinal matches. Hope you enjoy this:

Iran won medals in Judo and Taekwondo, but nothing in Wrestling. I guess times are changing.
