First thanks Aynak for posting that song. I remember it well. Also Arj'c comment has made me curious about Parvin's politics, and I like where Hooshang wrote in his last comment:"...some point it might not be a bad idea to have a blog on protest music in Iran. Heavenly voice!

Oh... Parvin, hands down! Especially back in the day (60 years ago) there had been no auto-tunes! She had a voice rivalling that of Delkash, and perhaps had it not been for her political views, she would've been as celebrated or at least enjoyed as much media attention!

if I were competitve, I would attempt to sing the song :).   It is a great song and it will be fun to listen to different versions of it.  thanks for sharing.

Souri khanom: you're very welcome. glad you liked it, I could easily imagine you singing this song. Why don't you sing it for us and post it?

AH: Sometimes you're so competitive it scares me. Parvin by far has the best performance. The way she belts out  'FALAAAK'  and  'HOR O MALAAAK' : it's just something else. I like every single performance in here. Tis Parand page is mighty, mighty good.

MM: No excuses accepted. What's so hard about singing the song and posting it here?

I always loved the song and especially with Parvin's voice.

She was my father's favorite....Also mine's.

May be we can rank them

those of us interested, should listen to them all and then rank from best performance to worst. The worst one will be still good but I am talking comparatively.
