So far Secular Democratic Monarchys tend to be constsitently far better in terms of human rights and limitations on power abuse than either absolute Monarchies or Republics.  The million dollar question is how does one get there when the country, like 3rd world Iran, isn't even industrialized yet?

Israel is the Only Democracy in the Middle East

And this behavior has relevance to future we wish to create for Iran, in the same way that learning how Americans are Scared into Supporting Wars by powerful interests "also a form of control".  To be exact the USA has been involved in over 170 wars in under 250 years of existance mostly with majority support.  This is a masochistic reality of democracies that buyers need to beware of, Ironically the people in democracies only matter only to the extent they can serve the powerful interests, because at the heart of democracies and their balance of powers is absolute tyranny, giving leaders far more absolute powers than any monarchy or King could ever have and all because the majority of the people agree with it. The marketing pitch for democracy is of by and for the people, though in practice and reflecting over every democracy this is not the case most of the time.
