Iranian of the Century

Iranian of the Century

Without young men like this, consider that your mothers, sisters, and grandmothers may have become the new 'Mrs. Saddam Hussein.'

Without young men like this, consider that  South-Western Iran - as far as Shiraz - could have become a part of Iraq while Saddam siphoned off Iran's oil resources for America's and Europe's benefit.

Iran does not belong to the 'Shah's of Sunset' ... Iran belongs to the soldiers of Shiraz, Ahvaz, Tabriz, Mashhad and Tehran, and all of those persons willing to place their security on the line to defend it, and it always has.

The Iranian of the Century is all of those persons whom the boy symbolizes.

I dont remember, but let's remember them

by مآمور on

First of all, there is any body out there thinking those kids who fought Iran-Iraq war are not worth remembering?? then I m not talking to u!!!

I, personally, dont remember if I took part in that battle, however, unless u want to be a big shot politician, it does nt matter any more who took part who did not. But, I surely remember them-all nations would do for their soldiers.

It gives me a warm feeling seeing the next generation after mine does appreciate the sacrifies and REMEMBER.

THANKS BUDDY

No matter how hard you try, no matter how hard you lie and no matter how hard you try to muddy the issues by trying to get Israel involved in the ongoing injustics and oppression in Iran, the fact remains, and will always remain, that the IR has ccommitted unspeakable crimes against humanity against the Iranian people, including, but not limited to, using child soldiers.  These crimes have never had, do not have, and will never have ANYTHING to do with Israel.

Now, the only good thing about you is that you're using what appears to be a real name.  And that is good.  Since under international criminal law, those who advocate for and propagandzie on behalf of an entity that commits crimes against humanity, such as using child soldiers, are just as accountable legally as the entity itself.  So, I think that we will probably see you beforre the ICC before we see you in the O.R.

Iran loves its children more than Israel loves Iran's children

    by ILoveIran on

Iran loves its children more than Israel loves Iran's children:

Victor Ostrovsky, a former Senior Mossad* Case Officer admits that Israel worked behind the scenes to ensure that Iraqis killed Iranians and that the Iraq/Iran war dragged on for as long as possible.  Over 1,000,000 men, women and children died after Saddam Hussein attempted to annex South-Western Iran in the 1980s in a war that dragged on for over 8 years.  The war included the use of chemical weapons by Saddam Hussein (then a U.S. ally) against civilian Iranian populations and Iraqi-Kurds.      [* Mossad is Israel's spy agency.]

Iran loves its children more than America loves Iran's children:

"In 1986, the CIA established a direct Washington-to-Baghdad link to provide the Iraqis with faster intelligence from U.S. satellites."

Typical propoganda garbage from uber islamists.  when ever they feel they are in trouble or things dosen't look good  for them they act  as uber nationalists! These are the same people who despise Iran in any way shape or form and just use the country  as a piece of real estate just to export their wacky ideology.

The truth is, had it not been for what was left of  of Iranian arm forces specialy the Air force, Iraq would have won the war hands down. It was all the sorties performed by the brave Iranian pilots that turned the tides of war around. It was bravery of Iranian commando's that liberated Khoramshah in a hand to hand combat not teen age wanna be soldiers running around like gousfand on the mine fields.

No we don't owe any thing to teen agers who got blown away by a nasty regime that used them as a pawn, but we owe debt of graditute to the bravery , training and patriotism of members of Iranian arm forces.

'Iran controls Iraq,' Iraqi MP Al-Jaber

Iraqi MP: It Can Be Said That Iran Controls Iraq:

Iraqi MP Nadim Al-Jaber has stated that Iran's statements that "the security vacuum must be filled if the U.S. withdraws" attest to its imperialist aspirations, and to the U.S.'s failure to safeguard Iraq's security.

He added that Iran's political infiltration of Iraq is so deep that it can be said that Iran controls Iraq.

The majority of the casualties of the Iran-Iraq war happened after the initial attacks by Saddam and on the Iraqi soil where Khomeini sent kids to walk on mine fields and electrified swamps on their way to Karbala.

If the vindictive old man had drunk the poison from the chalice several years earlier, many of these innocent kids would have been alive today and could have studied in the US to become doctors.

He died a bitter old man knowing that he could neither capture Karbala neither Jerusalem.

Imagine a regime whose greatest glory is losing to Saddam

    by AMIR1973 on

Most of the death and destruction occurred from the years 1982 (when Iraq offered a truce to the IRI, which Khomeini refused) through 1988 (when Emam finally and very reluctantly agreed to end the war and "drank the poisoned chalice"). The responsibility for the last 6 years of the war therefore rests squarely on Khomeini's ugly head. The West-residing IRI Groupies can try to erase history all they want, but facts are facts.

The IR has had an ongoing policy of using children to implement its security and military objectives, which, again, is a crime against humanity.  It is still doing so.  There is the famous picture of little kids sitting on the sidewalk with batons in one hand and ice cream cones in the other, waiting to attack demnstrators back in 2009.  I'm in a rush right now, and couldn't find the photo.  But I will later, and will post the link.  Or perhaps someone who is more computer savvy than I can fnd it and link it.

    //www.counterpunch.org/2004/06/17/how-reagan-armed-saddam-with-chemical-weapons/

During the war, Iranians of all stripes (the brave and patriotic ones ... not the so-called 'Shahs of Sunset' that fled to Camp Ashraf, L.A. and who would later turn-up on the internet decades later to criticize the brave ones) defended their families, homes, and nation.  I suppose the disinformation teams of Israel, the US, and MEK, need something to say to denigrate bravery, especially when Saddam, the Israeli army, and the US army routinely kill children, including at that time. Saddam did this through the use chemical and biological weapons, and sought to annex the land and resources of Iran; recently the US killed hundreds of thousands in Iraq (including tens of thousands of children in both Iraq & Afghanistan) and previously propped-up the Taliban which did the same, and Israel has done the same in Palestine for 60 years.

I am sure that boy did not want his sister and mother to turn into the new 'Mrs. Saddam Hussein' and 'Mrs. Uday Hussein.'  Good for him.  I salute the brave.

Khomeini sent hundreds of 1000s to die & still lost to Saddam,

    by AMIR1973 on

and Saddam was without a doubt one of the most incompetent military commanders in recent history, as evidenced by his two very quick and very humiliating defeats at the hands of the US. So, basically hundreds of thousands of young Iranian men and teenagers were sent to die so that the IRI could "liberate" Karbala and then Qods, and at the end, Emam was forced to "drink the poisoned chalice" after having achieved neither of those goals. Now, that should be called the War of the Century!
