Dog freedom is asking too much

I am a vegetarian so I do not need animal doctor.

This is Iran, and people do not have lack of emotional needs and do not have shortage of support system. In the West you need a pet if you're lonely, but not in Iran. Here, my problem is I want be left alone.

95% of people live in apartments. I have nothing against animals. I just do not like noise, like an akhond preaching or prayer noise from a stupid mosque. Of course I prefer dogs to akhonds. I can shut the dog I can not shut up the akhond.

In a country that human life or freedom of women and gays are not respected, freedom of dogs is asking too much, even from a god damn liberal like me.

I love horses and fish but cannot afford it. Do you know why I love them? They are not filthy, and do not have noise. Of course, it is a matter of economics, in a country with this many poor people, specially street kids, taking care of dogs...

I do not give a shit about religion but let's get real. Most god damn Iranians are Moslems.

I sit here reading this post and cannot help glance over to my two Persian Shepherds sleeping at the foot of the couch.  I have always loved dogs. I raised two in Iran, but lost one to the Mullahs.

Animal cruelty is universal. It is not unique to Iran, but the problem is that Islam sanctions cruelty to dogs. For that I and my lovely Persian Shepherds shash on Islam and its cruelty to dogs.

1) KILL THE DOGS

From Bukhari Vol. 4, #540

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle ordered that the dogs should be killed.

From Abu Dawud #2839

Abd Allah B. Mughaffal reported the apostle of Allah as saying: Were dogs not a species of creature I should command that they all be killed; but kill every pure black one.

The Hadith's note for #2839 says, "The prophet did not order the killing of all the dogs, for some are to be retained for hunting and watching. He ordered to kill the jet black ones. They might be more mischievous among them.

From Muslim #3814

Ibn Mughaffal reported: Allah's messenger ordered the killing of dogs and then said, "what is the trouble with them (the people of Medina? How dogs are nuisances to them (the citizens of Medina)? He then permitted keeping of dogs for hunting and (the protection of) herds. ...[and for] for the protection of cultivated land.

From Muslim #Number 055

Ibn Mughaffal reported: The Messenger of Allah ordered killing of the dogs, and then said: What about them, i. e. about other dogs? and then granted concession (to keep) the dog for hunting and the dog for (the security) of the herd, and said: When the dog licks the utensil, wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time.

From Muslim #3813

Abu Zubair heard Jabir Abdullah saying: Allah's messenger ordered us to kill dogs and we carried out this order so much so that we also killed the dog roaming with a women from the desert. Then Allah's apostle forbade their killing. He said: "It is your duty to kill the jet-black (dog) having two spots (on the eyes) for it is a devil.

The note for #3814 says,

"The Hadith gives us an idea why the prophet commanded to kill dogs. There must have been an excess of stray dogs and thus the danger of rabies in the city of Medina and its suburbs. The prophet therefore ordered to kill them. Later on when it was found that his Companions were killing them indiscriminately, he forbade them to do so and told them that only the ferocious beasts which were a source of danger to life should be killed. The word "Devil" in the Hadith clarifies this point. Here devil stands for ferocious.

whatever Babak means, it can mean the defender of Zard-aloo it makes no different. He should not insult Islam or any religion in order to defend dogs.

Dogs in Islam are very dear. Only mullahs since Safavid started calling a dog "najes". But none allows someone to insult a religion.

Defender of Animals

Persian words "Zaban Basteh" says a lot about our inherent Iranian kindness towards animals who can not defend themselves against cruelty in a court of law. Therefore we must defend them. Animals share human capacity to feel pain and emotions.

Babak means to defend animals. But he should use the word "education" and not "evolution". Education is the key.

PS:
The writer has witnessed children in Iran's Kurdistan set dogs on fire with kerosene to have fun. The aftermath to this date burns still as nightmare in my memory.

Easy for you to sit in San Diego and unleash assault on someone who is expressing his anger in a short essay. The point has nothing to do with dogs nor muslims or the clergy.

Nonetheless you turn around and insult the author, you insult all Muslim clergies and testify that dogs are superior to Muslim clergies.

Then philosophically you end your nasty respond by predicting how the world will continue to stay sub-human as long as people call dogs filthy!

What do you know about Islam, and what do you know about dogs? Not a damn thing I bet.

At the end of this discussion we all know what is filthy and what is not....

Go and buy a book and read about Islam and also read about dogs, Islam has nothing against dogs.

Have you had a bird or rabbit as a pet!

Parakeet is my favorite bird .They are easy to take care of.They do not stinks the place and do not make a mess and are not very expensive .They also bring the nature to your home.Rabbits are like cats but they do not make a mess and do not stink the place either when they are babies.

Dogs are not filthy. They are cleaner than you in all respects. And they are certainly cleaner and superior to all Muslim clergy.

As long as people like you use words and adjectives like filthy about dogs, we'll never evolve to state of humanity.

You are not fit to own fish or horses.
