Another comprehensive study by an insider into how Islam changed with changing environments and from a peaceful mission changed to an agressive one after the flight from Mecca to Medina ( Yathrib) and gathering some followers.

بت شکن

Pay attention 007 !

by بت شکن on

Her Majesty's Secret Service is not a place to fool around with our allies and loyal servants. Here is what you need to know about agent Dashti

Ali was a first class freemason and an all time supporter of British policy in Iran. He loyally called Reza Shah a thief and urged the people to arrest him and confiscate his wealth.

He was always a sweetheart of British Embassy parties and the Freemasons "white parties"

Because of his devotion to Her Majesty and and her governments policies in Iran, we forced the Shah to appoint Ali as a senior Senator for life.

Agent Dashti never owned up the authorship of 23 Years otherwise he would have been shot on the first day. We instructed our double agents inside the Islamic regime to save his life and let him live the last few years of his life in less hardship compared to the rest of the captured agents. After all the Top man in the regime was one of our own!

The book 23 Years was published in Iran in tens of thousands of copies in spite of the official ban. Our men in Savak arranged the distribution. It was read in Qum like noghlo nabat.

OK 007 this ends your briefing. I think you had enough for now. Remember: Her majesty expects a better show next time.

Dashti or not ?!

by jimzbund on

Dashti claimed that he had written the book and was imprisoned and killed for it . H ehad said that if Shah had allowed his books to be published then we wouldn't have had this revolution ! . But even if it is not his book which I doubt, it is the message that we are after not the messanger.

Proof of the Pie ...

by بت شکن on

Please see these:

from Wiki: //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Dashti

Takht-e Pulad (anonymous and undated, contents first published in the periodical Khaterat in 1971-72), dialogues in the historic Takht-e Pulad cemetery of Esfahan with a learned 'alem who sticks to the letter of the Qur'an and the Hadith.

Bist o Seh Sal بيست و سه سال [Roman transliteration of and Persian for "twenty-three years"] 23 Years - anonymous and without indication of place and date of publication, but evidently not later than 1974 and according to Ali Dashti's statement printed in Beirut), a study of the prophetic career of Mohammad.

Ahang Rabbani

Authorship

by Ahang Rabbani on

I have not done research in identifying the writer of this book, but the evidence supporting Dashti's authorship is relatively strong.  I would urge the reader to consult F.R.C. Bagley's introduction to his masterful translation of this book for details (Mazda publishing, 1994).

And while I agree that at times Wikipedia has questionable information, it is not true that Wiki lists this book as anonymous author.  Please see:  //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_Years

Moreover, Dr. Bahram Choubine, who has edited this book and has written a lengthy learned introduction to it, is convinced that it was penned by Ali Dashti.  Perhaps a closer look at his introduction would be of some benefit (please see the link in the above blog entry).

Having said this, I'm not insisting on attributing the authorship of this book to Dashti, but the above-cited sources seems to provide supporting evidence for such an inference.

بت شکن

23 Years mythology

by بت شکن on

Contrary to the common belief there is absolutely no evidence that this book was written by Ali Dashti. As it was akin to the Satanic Verses of its day, nobody came forward to claim its ownership out of fear of being killed by the Muslim fanatics. It was ascribied to Dashti and much later Dashti, in the absence of the real author, usurped the status of its writer. Even in the ever unreliable Wikipedia, under Dashti's bibliography, both "23 Years" and "Takhte-Pulad" have anonymous authors.

Islam is the only religion in which they themselves killed their leaders (Imams ) , now you think they will spare others ?!

Introduction to Dashti's book

Dr. Choubine's introduction to this book is well worth a careful read.  A portion of it is translated and posted here on Iranian.com:  //iranian.com/main/2008/sacrificing-innocent
