I have been unable even to think of touching meat after seeing the horrifc video of Neda's death. her beautiful eyes were wide open when she passed on and it reminded me of the eyes of a lamb after being beheaded . They are both being sacrificed one for IRI's power grip / Iran's brave youth and the other one for our consumption. Maybe these customs of Ghorbani and fadaa introduces some elements of brutality and savagery in us from the early ages and kills compassion and mercy in people. I am a vegetarian now and won't eat any living creature until the last breath.
