I love dancing and I love Persian dancing in particular. I like to share its versatility and sophistication anytime I can. :)
Hi, someone asked that I speak a bit about my Irish side. I had some fun... thanks!

by KamranDanceTeacher on Tue May 03, 2011 10:41 PM PDTI look the way I like to look. I do the things I like to do. I walk the walk I like to walk. If she likes it, then I'm hers. That's how I do things. Same for my appreciation of women. If I like the way she walks, talks, looks, then I like her. I love 'em the way they are or not at all.
It is still funny to hear your strategies and opinions though. :D
P.S. Azadeh (wonderful name), if you want to see what happens to me when thinks get shaken up in my house watch my vid "Beethoven's Fifth Assphony", as long as you are ok with indecent looks. It's PG-13. :)
LOL, Faramarz
by Azadeh Azad on Tue May 03, 2011 07:39 PM PDTYou're so distorted :-). Is that how an Iranian man thinks?
You're teaching Kamran a devilish way of being in the world (I'm looking at your avatar now!) Too much planning, ... as if trying to rip off customers with a phony merchandise or something.
What happened to spontaneity and being yourself?
Kamran: don't listen to this guy, and don't go towards calculating girls (the female version of Faramarz) either. That's my last piece of advice. I'm outta here!
Ciao,
Azadeh
A Word from the Jedi Master!
by Faramarz on Tue May 03, 2011 07:01 PM PDTOK Kamran, here is how it works with women in general and Iranian women in particular!
As I have said it before and I will say it again, women look at men the same way an architect looks at a fixer-upper; there is always an upside potential, but it is going to take some work!
So Kamran what you need to do is to keep the scruffy look for a while and then, when she asks you to get a clean shave, you do it reluctantly but you do it as a present to her!
Once you do that, you will get all the love and the special treatment for a few nights (ehem!) and she will get to tell her friends what a wonderful guy you are!
Kamran, don't listen to Faramarz!
by Azadeh Azad on Tue May 03, 2011 06:05 PM PDTWhat does he know about men? He's not even gay. So, there! :-)
Women of the world - Iranian or not - like handome *clean-shaven* men. Keep the face as is.
The same goes with your pants. What might be considered an "indecent look" by Faramarz, is certainly "an interesting look" to me. Can't wait to see the effect of a small, yet alarming, earthquake in your area - while you're recording! LOL.
Cheers,
Azadeh
I have a funny comment , begam, begam
by Anahid Hojjati on Tue May 03, 2011 03:23 PM PDTno, I am not going to write because then people say "che porro" but it was all Faramarz's fault that I even thought of this comment which I am not going to write.
Hahaha
by KamranDanceTeacher on Tue May 03, 2011 03:18 PM PDTThank you for the advice. I prefer being less clothed (I believe I did not in fact have pants on in this video, unless you consider underpants pants). It's more comfortable for me. And I agree. The facial hair will be put back on as fast as it can grow. I think I may even put the full mustache back on too.
Irish Are the Iranians of Europe!
by Faramarz on Tue May 03, 2011 02:50 PM PDTKamran,
I have been pondering about your facial hair and have come to the conclusion that you should put your facial hair back on!
You see, as we say in Farsi, “I have ripped a few more shirts than you have!”, (completely consensual and by request) so I hope that you take my advice seriously!
Iranian women like the scruffy look, as long as it is Hollywood Scruffy and not Homeless Scruffy! And please make sure it looks like that you are spending a lot of money to look that way!
The other thing that I was going to say is that you have been seated in your recent clips as if you are not wearing any pants! Please make sure that you don’t look indecent in case there is an earthquake or a fire as a result of Santa Ana winds and you have to run out in the middle of your clips!
You are from the Southlands and I am sure that you see my point!
You're welcome
by KamranDanceTeacher on Tue May 03, 2011 10:53 AM PDTWelcome on all accounts. It's a priviledge.
thanks Kamran for talking about your Irish side of family
by Anahid Hojjati on Mon May 02, 2011 10:34 PM PDT45 first cousins. That is great. Thanks for sharing stories about your Irish grandfather, your aunt and others.
