Too much credit
by Manoucher Avaznia on Tue Jun 03, 2008 02:27 PM PDTAbarmard Jaan;
I believe you have gone too far in giving me this much credit. Just having heard you have read this poem gives me plenty of energy, leave alone giving a good comment. Almost in my fifties, I believe, I only use a young language, however I do not wish to return to my youth either. Believe or not, sometimes I sense the techniques that you hinted at perhaps existed already. Sometimes, I suspect that perhaps I have read some phrases in a great poet's work and they have stuck to my unconcious; and so I put them in quatation mark. If you ask me how. I have no clearly defined answer: it is just a sense. Nevertheless, I take your advice seriously; and I will try to enhance this method as much as I can. Who has defined what a technique is any way? In some occassions, I strongly believe, a good knowledge of our local dialects and music and pondering upon our classic literature from different angles can bring about miracles in verse. There is no reason for me to think our classic literature and country tales and musics "Boo'ye Arrahmaan Meedahad". I find plenty of fresh energy and inspiring capacity in them.
Thank You Again

I hope that you use your techniques and enhance it, so maybe we would have a young poet who introduces the new "post modern" style in to our language. It's not far fetched.
Thanks
