Tabakhtor is a kind of pride that is closer to arrogance.  Perhaps,  Takabbor has a close meaning with Tabakhtor.

Shahneh

Shahneh and assass mean police and gaurd specially those who have been involved in nightly vigilance to protect people's houses and belongings.  They, normally, were armed with clubs and whistle. In new language we can call him Passeban.

Abarmard & Manouchehr

believe "Shahneh" might means "the piece of Chase game which represent the King" but not sure about that, hope Manouchehr will enlighten us more.

The other word I'm interested to is "Tabakhtor" if the spelling is correct ?

What does it mean, Manouchehr jan?

Thank you for your interest.  This is my general feeling about law, its rigidity,  and its main purpose that is to support the interests of the ruling class who at the same time are the law-makers and law-inforcers.  The real story which is subject of a novel is over forty pages long.
