Dast az sare kachale man bardaar!!!hahaha
You confessed that you have gray head(I know you meant in a poetic metaphore ),to me it means you have "gray brain cells" like my favorite detective of Agatta Christi's,who else but Hecule Poirot.
So please continue dear.

A fruitless seed, you asked
by Nazy Kaviani on Sun Sep 21, 2008 10:26 PM PDTA fruitless seed, you asked
And I took your hand and led you
To the fields of thought
To the paddies of inspiration
To the farms of joy
To where hope grows
To where trees bear a delicious fruit
A fruit unlike another
Aromatic, delicious, and colorful
The fruit of thought
And reflection
And compassion
And understanding
Which feeds no one for one meal
But which feeds nations for centuries
The fruit of thought and understanding
The seeds of which will plant others
And will grow to last
For eternity.

Gratitude...
by Nazy Kaviani on Sun Sep 21, 2008 01:00 PM PDTAnd the writer sat speechless and quiet
He had a pen but no ink
Thoughts surrounded him
And he surrendered to his friend,
his imagination
Imagination took over to run
To go, to see, to hold, and to touch
To wrap itself around memories
To give in to desires
To visit and recount all wishes
To erase pains and maladies
Returning to the writer,
The hint of a smile on his face
Imagination helped the pen to write
For it was now dabbled in the ink of love.
Dear Manouchehr: I am touched beyond words for your kind reply and my very own "Chakameh!" Thank you.
Dear IRANdokht: Shekasteh nafsi mifarmaeed!

Date?!
by Kalantari 7-vakil alroaya (not verified) on Sun Sep 21, 2008 08:12 AM PDTit is important that a poet of this caliber checks the date of his postings, since the Roayas care for it.

Dear Mr Avaznia
by IRANdokht on Sun Sep 21, 2008 01:29 AM PDTMy point was to let you know that I enjoyed your poem as I always do and I always check the date on your poems to better understand you and the state of mind that you were in when you wrote them.
I realized that you had just written this beautiful piece of poetry today and I was happy to see the positive start and hopeful tone of it. What I wrote in parenthesis was just a friendly reminder to not rush, Shahrivar is my favorite month of the year ;-)

by Nazy Kaviani on Sat Sep 20, 2008 11:52 PM PDTAnd a friend
Is all that we need on our road,
To be our fellow-traveller
To be our companion
To be our shade
To be our compass
To be our Carevan-Sarai
A friend,
and nothing more.
Our city of light,
colors,
and laughter
is just around the corner.

by Manoucher Avaznia on Sat Sep 20, 2008 10:07 PM PDTAgain you did a lot of Choobkaaree with your beautiful words. You make me feel that I am reaaly someone. Don't do this to the old man. Just tried to joke. I heartily appreciate your comment. Just to mention that the date of the poem is Shahreevar 30, 1387. So much I was engrossed in the date that Iraq invaded Iran; which was first day of the month of Mehr, that I made that gross mistake. I will change it shortly. Enjoy your time down there.
Thank You

by Manoucher Avaznia on Sat Sep 20, 2008 10:00 PM PDTYou caught me there. Just tried to joke. You are right. We are still in Shahreevar. I noticed it after it was featured. I told myself to change the date once it has disappeared from that part of the web. It is 30th of Shareevar; and I will change the date tomorrow. Thank you for the point.
