Once again, I am all alone with my homeland. The presence of seventy million people does not distract me. I walk in the fields in Hurmuz Island, watch the deers' delicate bodies move around, the lone birds huddle on top of cliffs in the middle of Persian Gulf, the ocean change colour in front of me.

I close my eyes and stretch my arms to embrace it all. I reach across the land on the other side, touch the soil, and feel my finger tips on both arms touch ... I am unbearably happy in my country... "Love is a many splendored thing" indeed ...
