  • Breast milk provides health benefits for your baby.
  • Breastfeeding provides health benefits for mum.
  • It’s free.
  • It’s the right temperature.
  • It can build a strong physical and emotional bond between mother and baby.
  • lowers your risk of getting breast and ovarian cancer
  • naturally uses up to 500 calories a day
  • saves money – infant formula, the sterilising equipment and feeding equipment can be costly

Top tens fever is catchy, another topic was needed :)

There are lots of advice on how to breast feed at

For the mother it lowers your risk of getting breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Amazing.

For babies it provides antibodies that it needs to fight infection, increase IQ, and recently shown even better behaviour!

Powered milk doesn't do any of that, drug companies trying to sell something that is not needed in a large scale.

Of course it may not possible to in all cases to breast feed, hence why it was produced as a supplement to help but not to replace it for all. Some companies saw a marketing opportunity and put profit before health.

There are campaigns to boycott some of these companies like Nestle.

When its painful some people find it helpful to use a breast pump and then give the milk via a bottle.

Is one thing my ex did right! It is absolutely required for babies. I strongly support it and let us keep the jokes in perspective. 

  • It is not disugsting rather very good for babies.
  • There are much more disgusting things babies do :-)
  • It has antibodies from the mother; protects babies.

It was disgusting and painful! I just hated every second of it...the babby sucking on my milk and blood like a vampire...yuck! I am so happy that it didn't last long....:-)
