Many artists, painters, writers and musicians have been very vocal in opposing the government following the June elections.
Shajariyan, for instance, made such a brave public announcement recently, and Mohsen Makhmalbaf has been extremely vocal from his residence in Paris.
Historically wars, revolutions, civil unrest... have helped create some really interesting works of art be it visual, vocal or in text.
I'm really curious to find out how Iranian artists (writers, musicians, painters, etc) living inside and out are responding to recent events. How has this impacted on their creativity.
Would be very interested to read some of your thoughts on this....
