You warmed my winter
by Orang Gholikhani on Sun Jan 11, 2009 11:38 AM PSTThanks Azarin Jan,
I took this picture my self and I should tell you its story:
Currently we have an exceptional cold winter in Europe, Last week I was crossing Paris and in the L'ile St Louis Bridge, I saw a guy who was creating these Adam Barfi, He made at least 7 or 8 Adam barfay at -6 C ! Why I don't know, may be he was a poet too, I belieive that poetry could expressed in several forms, word, picture and acts. I wanted to translate his "gestual poem" to act. So I made this poem, may be it is what he wanted express !
Unfortunatly I'd only my mobile phone with me and not enough light, it is the only good picture I could take.
I forgot to mention...
by Azarin Sadegh on Sat Jan 10, 2009 12:05 PM PSTI forgot to mention how much I loved the picture!
Did you take this picture? Or did you make these sad snowmen with sharp eyes waiting for the dawn, and for that warm death! Plus I love the expression of the sadness on the faces of this father and son as they have already realized the impossibility of reaching to each other, stuck, frozen in their place in the world!
So Lovely!
Azarin
Lovely...
by Azarin Sadegh on Sat Jan 10, 2009 12:01 PM PSTOrang Jan, In the midst of so many hateful blogs and bloody news, your little poem about this father and son made of snow felt so right! Thanks!
