Imagine these women could very well have been ISRAELI mothers.

As far as the poem is concerned. It could also say.............

"We will (also) not go down in the night without a fight

You can burn up our synagogues and our homes and our schools (with your rockets and homicide bombers)

But our spirits will never die

We will not go down (Sderot, Ashkelon, & Ashdod) tonight..."
