That Spain bet came just from a very strong intuition! My intuition tells me that the winner will be Spain.....but everybody knows that Germany is always the best in almost all the field of sport (and that's what  makes me nervous :))

Maradona's case in my opinion is that of an a super-glorified and hyped up situation where a player is given more credit than he deserves. He did not mind cheating his way out of a game. He was always unnecessarily phyisical and he trained this new team the same exact way. They spent the first half beating and knocking out german players left and right.

I think that Brazil and Argentina are two teams whose glory days are over pretty much and placing a heavy burden on them and expecting too much of them and their performace will lead to nothing but dissapointment.

the germans proved that playing an organized game, as a team and in a contientious manner, is the key to victory in big tournaments nowadays, not relying on just one player, like Brazil and Argentina do!
