Iranians show their TRUE selves !

In The Name Of God

Dear Freedom loving and Peaceful people,

The video clip at the bottom of this page taken by an Italian reporter in Tehran yesterday (starting min. 2:30), shows an Islamic Republic's Anti-Riot Police captured by the Iranian people during his (and his unit's) attack on PEACEFUL and UNARMED Iranian people asking for Freedom and their basic human rights!

What truly touched me was the way the ordinary people (who were first attacked and battered by the Islamic Police) reacted and how these people treated the young man (Police/aggressor) they captured!

To me, this really showed a true Act of Kindness through the Power of Consciousness by the people involved. The true teachings of ancient Persian culture and Belief that the Conscious reaction to violence is not with violence, but with understanding and kindness... 

This class act still makes believe in humanity and also makes me proud to be an Iranian now.

Free Iran, Iranians and all human beings,
Love and Peace.

i don't like to...

...pat myself or countrymen in the back. i don't like to say: "iranians were the first to..." or such sentiments. but the meaning of iran to me is not the land of aryans but the land of many different kind of people who have tolerated each other for millenia. the people who have not resorted to genocide against each other. the country, so proudly called "my country, iran" by people of all ethnicities and religions.  this clip reminds me of the meaning of iran.

I salute those Iranian demonstrators on the streets of Tehran. They make us so proud to witness their acts of compassion. Indeed, a true sense of humanity is portrayed on the world stage of what it means to be a true Iranian.

Tears came as I saw this. THIS is who we are.

They took him to eliminate the threat, but protected him from harm to show that this is not about inflicting injury or harm. I noticed that they even gave him some green cloth to show the rest of the crowd that he poses no danger to them.
