This was an essay i had to do at school I got a 10:
You have to love your family, it is very easy to make my family
happy because in my family there is 4 people besides me.To make my
parents happy at school in spanish class,by having a great behavior the Spanish teacher Ofelia, gives me a stamp in my homework agenda. And if I get a stamp every day my parents are happy.
To make my brothers happy you have to give them somethingso they let you in their rooms. For example:An orange,a cookie,a piece of cake, chips, nacos, popcorn,a shake etc...Then they will let you in their rooms to play a pillow fight!!!
HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!!!!!!

by desi on Thu Nov 20, 2008 06:22 PM PSTRobert,
You're a very thoughtful writer. I think it's great that you think of your family and how you can make them happy. I should have my son read this. I hope it inspires him.
Dear Robert,
by Killjoy (not verified) on Thu Nov 20, 2008 06:42 AM PSTI had fun reading your essay.
It is nice of you to want to make everyone in your family happy.
I saw some photos of your neighborhood. It's a very nice place.
When I remember my childhood, I always think of the great fun I had with my brothers, sisters and our friends. My hometown was a beautiful place, too. It was very clean and it seemed like everyone knew each other.
As a kid I played soccer and with some help from a few older friends we made a team called, Roots. We played soccer almost everyday of the week and we had matches with teams from different areas of the town on the weekends. Our team was strong and sometimes our town's very famous players came to watch our matches. I was very happy to meet them.
I also loved to read books. My brothers, sisters and our many friends would buy books and share them. I read many American and European and, of course, Persian novels as a kid. Those novels helped me a lot with my studies later on.
I'd love to see more of your essays!
Bye for now.
Dear Robert,

It's true, life is a series of give and takes where we find out what means something to those around us (or makes them happy), and do those things when we can. The trick is not to do it just for them, but also for ourselves. That would be a great accomplishment.
So, what do your family have to do to make you happy? Do you just let your older brothers to just come into your room without any offering? I suppose when you are the youngest in the family, things are a little harder for you, but I have a secret to share with you.
I had a huge age gap with some of my brothers and sisters. My oldest sister is 14 years older than me. When I was very young, the age difference was HUGE! For example, when I went to first grade, my oldest sister who was 21, got married! Can you believe it? As time went by and I got older, somehow I got closer and closer to my older brothers and sisters, forgetting about the age difference, to the point where for the past 20 years I have forgetten how much older they are than me.
That was my secret. Now some good news:
As that age difference shrinks and gets smaller (as explained in the "secret" above), you have to give fewer and fewer gifts to get into their rooms! There will come a day when you can get in for that pillow fight without giving anything. There will even come a day when they will give you loads of gifts for the visit!
Be good Robert and thanks for sharing again!
