Brother VPK you don't need fake politeness for the sake of being accepted as a democracy supporter if that is what you pretend to be. In an Islamic demcoracy there is a place for all faiths and religions be it Baha'i Babi Wahabi, Zionists etc. What is unacceptable is denying who you are. Why are we bashing or rather debating Islam;  and what is our goal. My goal is to show people it is myth and Iranians are better off without it. This is best achieved by keeping a level head and not screaming "I want to ... you". 

Face it a great many Iranians are on the fence. They got relatives who are Muslims. Their ancestors were Muslims. They don't want them dragged in s***. If you do that you will alienate them. On the other hand if you show the evils Islam did to Iran you will win them over. I want to win them over. Another person may just want to vent. If that is  the goal then fine. But that is not my goal. As I said I want Islam out of Iranian people's minds. Not to *** and make myself feel better. It is not about me but other people.

Therefore I agree with RG. If we go all out attacking we get less success than if we stick to reason. Because it would sound as crazy as the Islamists themselves.

Well, Hossein to me is like Khamenei today, lot of hot air but not much of substance.  He knew if he walk away from that battle he will be kill later in private and nobody will care (since Muslims don’t like to see opposition alive) and he wanted to become famous so bad he stayed to fight with few of his dumb friends and they got what they deserved, their asses (I mean heads) Handed to them.  How I use to think Islam was worth to believe in because it was in my heart but since I start to feeling it up my ass, thanks to Islamic republic I knew it then Islam is nothing bout a joke for few to fool masses of illiterate for profits. 

As an Iranian just thought you need to know my feeling about the dumbest Imam. Did I mention Ashora was best time for me to meet girls and get their numbers, that's the only thing I miss about Ashora.

Before getting too sentimental about Ashura, one should study the legitamacy of Shia.  There is no mention of 12 Imams in Quoran or any hadith from Muhammad prior to the single and questionable appointment of Ghadir-e-Khom. How can Qoran neglect to mention the important question that left unresloved has lead to many wars and millions of deaths and weakening of Islamic unity. We have verses in Qoran that advise Muhammad's wife not to get jealous if he is sleeping more times with some of them than others. We have verses advising Muslims not to drop by Muhammad's house unannounced.  And yet , god almighty chose to leave the most importany question of succesion unadressed so millions be killed in interfighting and billions  of damage. As lawyers would say, He knew , or should have known the consequences of leaving the issue up in the air. Alo, it has left 95% of muslims to end up in hell because they cannot decide whether Shia claims are right.

Iranians where majority Sunni before the Safavid dynasty. The transition from Sunni to Shia is well documented.  You ignore all facts except those that convenient to your views.For some reason you are obviously extremly desperate to make Shia Islam Iranian.From your attempt to portray the Imams as Persians, to claiming that because Reza happened to die while in Iran that means we should all love him .Are you telling me the whole Safavid conversion of Iran from majority Sunni to majority Shia is a big lie?

Regardless of Ferdowsi being Shia, it really doesn't matter. He obviously cared more about Iranian culture than Arabic myths. Ferdowsi was one man. The majority of Iranians where Sunni. 

 8th Imam of Shiayan and his family would not have felt safe enough to immigrate to Iran.

Sorry, but this doesn't qualify as proof for the majority of Iranians being Shia even before the Safavids.  At that period in Iran's history most Iranians where still Zoroastrain.
