OK - so it's time to find a good EIDI for your the little brats. I don't have kids - just lots of nieces and nephews... and every year I have been amazed at all the new things on the market from the Iranian-American community.

For example, I love the Rostam comic books, I also love this Persian farsi alphabet learning board game which I bought last year for my 5 year old niece - we played it all weekend and she learned quite a bit. Well, my friend Shabnam Rezaei has a new site that sells all these products in one place.

Shabnam is the person who did Babak & Friends and Mixed Nutz cartoons. Here is a clip

Go to the persian store on her site oznoz.cm & u can find books, DVDs and much more in farsi - so don't worry - your little brats won't grow up watching just dora - they can also watch these great shows in farsi and then negh negh in our own language! YEAH!! It's great. Kudos once again to the team behind this site and behind the animation. Happy NOROOZ little one.

But a true Iranian knows that Iran has always been known as Iran to Iranians. Not Persia. Our great land was known either as Iranzamin or Iranshahr, and then shortened to Iran. Pars or Parsa has always been a kingdom within the greater Iran. "Emperaturieh Pars" is therefore not correct. This just means we are succumbing to the Greeks for making our land known as Persia for around 2400 years.

Nevertheless, entreprenaurs like this lady are always good to have for preserving our culture.
