That Maurice Béjart crap! I remember that, from back in the day. What utter goofiness. Looking back, what an embarrassment. There are definitely times where modesty and Islamic sensibilities come in handy, that's for sure.

not off topic i hope, but this is in line also with the kanoon project on a blog by dk (thanks!). really interesting. the visibility of women (also in the shajarian clip), of education, of culture. part of a laarger picture i only get to see in slices.
