Even though I believe brothels should be banned and prostitution always illegal, Back then you had maybe 800 people in brothels, while now you have hashtad hezar ta az in adama, faghad tu tehran!.

Proof: videotapes...

anti_IRI Crown Verdict: Not Guilty.

Accusation: IRI sold....girl....dubai..yadayada
Proof: word of mouth/ bordering rumor

anti-IRI Crowd Verdict: GUILTY

Conclusion: anti-IRI rely more on rumors than videotapes. No wonder you're the laughing stock in exile.

Those who don't know this fact, never had a dealing with Komiteh and Basij. Although the regime was very harsh regarding prostitutes who didn't join its troops, but the percentage you are giving about those who were 'centrally' organized by pimps seems to me about right.

The "ladies" were organized by Zahra Khanoom, to launch daily attacks against the liberal and leftist opposition bookstores in front of the Tehran University.

The pimps and bouncers were mostly recruited into Komiteh and Basiij, as the worst ruthless "Nazi Storm Troopers", for attacking any opposition gathering and rallies.

Those are simple facts! Many of them later served in Evin and other prisons, as guards and torturers, along side some of the Savaki "Tavabs".
