Putting aside politics, I think this is pretty nice. His marriage was more successful than that of most Iranians, and he most surely respected his wife (based on the various interviews with his kids, wife, friends) more so than many of our so-called "civilized modern" Iranians.

Please guys, I just want comments on the content. This blog isn't about going on an anti-IRI rampage.

Thank you all for your replies, however as I said in the beginning, my point was not to talk about politics. My aim was to focus on this particular aspect Ayatollah Khomeini's life and not his politics or IRI etc.

And who made him an IMAM??? He wasn't even an ayatollah in a true sense. He was a petty criminal thug who is responsible for the gradual death of a proud nation.

He also married a 15 year old when he was 70. Love letters are dime a dozen...and hoder is one the most unscrupulous and unethical individuals on the internet...

what are you trying to achieve by saying that, being good to your wife does it gone wipe all those nasty things that he did ?? or being with your wife or get divorce, does it prove anything or does it show anything about a person ?? Would you rather have a a president who divorced his wife but he is giving freedom to his people or someone like khomeini but being still with his wife ?? meaningless article, we should be more careful on what we say in this time of our history, just imagine there are many important issues to talk about in this dark time of our history than praising our enemy's love marriage.
