Zendanian

Last year on May 3rd Iranian Kurdestan went on a General Strike to protest the execution of five political prisoners (four of them of Kurdish).

A year later Islamic Republic still struggling with its eternal political, economic crisis, and faced with a new wave of protests by Iranian people,- this time energized by the current  liberation movements of N.Africa and M.E.-, has resorted to its usual response to popular dissent: Unrestrained violence, especially as it reagrds the defensless political prisoners. Hopefully a coordianted international campaign will stop these two executions and be an introduction to freedom of all political prisoners in Iran. To read the full statement in Persian see below:
