I have got to change my answering machine
Now that I'm alone
Because right now it says that we
Can't come to the phone
And I know it makes no sense
Because you walked out the door
But it's the only way I hear your voice anymore
it's ridiculous
It's been hours
And for some reason I just
can't get over us
And I'm stronger than this
Enough is enough
No more walking around
With my head down
I'm so over being blue
Crying over you
And I'm so sick of love songs
So tired of tears
So done with wishing you were still here
I said I'm so sick of love songs, so sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?
I have got to fix that calendar I have
That's marked November 15th
Because since there's no more you
There's no more anniversary
I'm so fed up with my thoughts of you
And your memory
And how every song reminds me
Of what used to be
That's the reason I'm so sick of love songs
So tired of tears
So done with wishing you were still here
I said I'm so sick of love songs so sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?
Leave me alone
Leave me alone
Stupid love songs
Don't make me think about your smile
Or having my first child
I'm letting go
Turning off the radio
Because I'm so sick of love songs
So tired of tears
So done with wishing you were still here
I said I'm so sick of love songs so sad and slow
So why can't I turn off the radio?
Why can't I turn off the radio?
I hope you are also staying warm. I know New York can be so cold. I haven't been to New York City in 16 years, maybe one day I shall pass by your town. We can hang out at the l'net cafe.
I send my love to both the Bear and the BBB. Better yet give them a kiss from me too. They are going to need all the love they can get to stay warm through the storm.
Are you sending your love to the real Bear or the Beanie Babies Bear? In case you have not heard yet, there is a major storm going through the mountains as I write this, and ten feet of snow is predicted in some part of the wilderness. He'll be hibernating for a while.
But the BBB is right here, no problem, I'll tell him right now, Sasha said she sends her love, khers'e seyah'e kosool moocholoo :O)

By popular inquiry, I have changed my avatar from an effeminate Persian pussy cat to a roaring masculine Lion with two large testicles, which can not be seen in this photo. I hope this will clear all the outstanding issues about me being "effeminate" and "metrosexual" (not that there is anything wrong with it :O)
worship Shiva the Dissolver in the form of the Sacred Lingam, which might qualify as a variation on one of the worships you mention...
Interestingly, Shiva the Dissolver is part of the Trimurti, Brahman the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Dissolver. Which corresponds exactly to the Christian Trinity The Father (Creator, I am that I am), the Son (Logos, the Word), and the Holy Ghost (the Risen Christ, Love, Eshgh...). It is also clearly seen in the Hindu concept of satchitananda as the tripartite nature of Reality--being/awareness/love (compassion).....
Food for thought for the New Year for those who worship whatever they may worship and for those who worship "nothing" as well....on the extraordinarily coherent underlying unity of all the great world religions....who taught them? how did they know? how did they come to the same realizations?
Love the BIG kittykat by the way....

To unique anonymous: Yes he does look like a rabbi
Good point. I noticed it myself but I couldn’t pinpoint it why. After you mentioned it, I looked at it again, and now I believe it is because of his abba (cloak). The Muslim man should have been clothed with an outer sleeveless abba, and sleeved undergarment underneath. I think that would have made him more look like a mullah than a rabbi.
In the “The Dating Game” there are only three rivals, but I have had other cartoons with rabbis too. Nothing with Buddhist, Confucius’ist, and Dildo Worshipers yet.
Koroush you need to start writing some real literature for this dive. Here's something I wrote three years ago I think you'lll like It was part of my seond blog but it wasn't featured so hardly anyone saw it. It's called "Dakhmah"
From a hole I came,
to a hole I go.
We all walk through a tunnel.
The way is dark,
the walls enclose
and fear becomes the tunnel.
Tower of silence, tower of silence,
Offer me to your air.
Open me up and make me the carrion.
Free me from my fear.
Soon, soon fresh and clean
The sky shall meet the bone.
Iranzamin father of birds
Expose me to your crows.

The Chinese know me as a horse, the Persians as Ibix. I came with the sandstorms of the East, proclaiming to have been sent by the God of the muslims to punish them for their sins against humanity. I walked among the faces of Samarkand. I have drank the bitter waters of the highlands. I looked into the eyes of surrender.

The moslem drawing looks more like a rabbi! Where're the other religious characters?
Koroush, you have the soul of a poet and the mind of a pig. It is most fascinating, as humans are both animal and angel and the resolution of this dichotomy, along with the male/female one, seems to me to be our challenge and goal, especially now as the planet faces imminent destruction.
You do tend to go overboard though. As you just did--Sasha and Omid wouldn't be "supervising" anything, if there were anything to supervise--and as you did previously in comments which are now deleted. Along with my reply to one of them suggesting you write something "Experimental". You have quite an imagination, and quite a gift with language. I'm sure it would be...fascinating...
****
Koroush, Gabriel d'Annunzio, Eliot, Pound....the poet's vital relationship to the archetypal dimensions of experience have often led to a disposition toward Fascistic ideas in the turbulent 20th century. We're supposed to have learned the lessons of that century for the new millennium. I know you like to play Aryans and Lizard Eaters, but I'm asking you to be a big boy now and please try to give it up.
Koroush, a wild teenage boy in 1501 went screaming to his Turkic soldiers "I am very god, very god" and forged an identity for Iran out of the rubble of the Mongols and the Tatars. The Shiism of Shah Ismail was a mixture of classical Shia Islam (the Islam that from Islam's inception was the Islam that never was, a dream landscape Islam existing only in oppositon to the Islam that was--Sunnism) with Zoroastrian and Turkic shamanic elements, This was the sine qua non without which I'm not sure there would still be an Iran. The legacyof the Pahlavis in their consolidation of the Iranian nation-state stands squarely on the legacy of that mad young Shia king.
