Germany's "Baader Meinhof Komplex," a true-life account of a 1970s left-wing terrorist group, was among five nominees for best foreign language film at the Oscars, organizers said Thursday.

I love The life of others. Have already watched it twice. Great actors and great acting. Martina Gedeck is a very talented actress.

Great Movie

Very Good Movie despite its difficult subject. It really gives an objective view of the movement and their fatal end. It doesn't endorse their blind hatred but tries to understand the periode and what got these young Germans born from the heart of Nazi Germany into this vicious cycle of violence and hate. German Cinema has been very productive and inspired in recent years. The Life of others won an oscar two years ago and was a mature outlook on the Stasi and East Germany.
